Team for Leicester?

Zero chance he will change the starting eleven for this one.

Agree with this controversial change, dropping Bamford completely would dent his confidence, so starting him would make him prove all of us wrong.

Would go same team. Take the game to Leicester. Draws aren't that useful now, go take the game to them. We'll be very dangerous on the counter there.

Do see the benefit in doing this but against Southampton we played that team and were opened up too easily. Although we didn't have Rodon playing that game.

If Rodon is unavailable this game I would go with Cresswell as a replacement. We don't look as balanced with two lefties at the back

Interesting, clearly Leeds are capable of being dangerous, but as with all teams (ourselves included) not immune to a bad day at the office.

As the away team I expect you to play with some caution and opt for the breakaway goal rather than going gung ho to overwhelm us, given we have only conceded 8 goals in 14 league, that approach may makes sense, but if you do take a risk and put in a higher press you will leave your defence less protected.

I can't see us pushing you hard in the first half, more likely continuing with the successful possession based approach with more emphasis on not conceding rather than scoring, working your team hard, a lot depends on your fitness levels, if they aren't high then you'll be vulnerable to a late press

I like the idea of three in the middle.
Piroe is the only player I'd drop.

When teams have a go at us (rarely at ER) we look devastating on the break. Rutter, James and Summerville are terrorising teams on the counter. Best 2 sides in the league on there day.

We could go 433 with Gray joining Kamara and Ampadu. Front 3 of Summerville, Rutter, James.

Yes that Summerille looks a player, very dangerous. How effective are Leeds without the ball?

What an interesting question and hard to answer, as we tend to dominate possession in most games, like yourselves. We are showing more aggression in the press (with the exception of the Stoke loss, where Farke rested key players and paid the price) and Ampadu in our midfield is integral as a disruptor when the opposition are running at us. But I don’t think we are as consistently at it as Leicester are, without the ball.
That said, we saw how the Foxes struggled to contain Sunderland recently, and I think we will see this kind of game.
Both sides carry significant goal threats but, as you suggest, effectiveness off the ball may be a decisive factor in this one.

I think effectiveness off the ball would be one good reason to bring in Bamford or play Gray as the third man in midfield.

Meslier

Shackleton Rodon. Struijk Byram

Gray. Ampadu. Kamara

James. Rutter. Summerville

Cant see us losing this game.

Think we’ve the best squad in the league, and will show it friday

I think our lads can do them for sure. A draw wouldn’t be a bad night but a win, with them yet to come to us, would be awesome.

Rodon worries me though. Hopefully he’s fit because with him we look so much more steady at the back.

Rodon is the key, isn't he Stoopo?
And I have this feeling that Bamford will get the chance during the game to redeem himself. This is a very happy hunting ground for him and I could see him nicking a late winner...or should I go to specsavers?

can't see any changes from the last game, unless an injury, myself would swap rutter & piroe around.

If all fit, the team that started against Huddersfield should take the field. Rodon is a doubt, maybe Ayling to slot in rather than Struijk having to move over to accommodate Cooper. Bamford does give you a little more defending from the front, but I’d stick with Piroe. Need to start well and take the game to them…draw doesn’t do much for us.

With all due respect, what an absolute load of nonsense.

Bamford is a complete spent force, how many more examples of his ineptitude & arrogance do people need?

His miss at Elland Road against Friday's opponents still makes me feel sick to the stomach.

He shouldn't wear the shirt again.

I made mistake of watching it again. Talk about a season defining moment. Ten minutes at the end of this one might be all he needs to redeem himself.

Players never miss sitters or miss penalties do they? Only Bamford it seems - as far as some are concerned.

I think I’d rather trust Farke’s judgment on wether he should wear the shirt or not!
