We're going to miss Neto more than currently thought. More often than not he's the only "out ball".

I have a feeling we're going to find this match more difficult than some realize.

Think your right WO, there are no freebies in the prem.
Hopefully we should have enough to get a result.
Neto will be a huge loss but we need to all pull together. We seem to have a team spirit back after losing Neves.

A game we should be going into full of confidence of getting 3 points, but the loss of Neto does make it more of a challenge.

If fit I would like to see Bellegarde come in to replace him as he can carry the ball and provide some creativity that we will miss from Neto. But I suspect we will play Sasa with Cunha and Hwang either side of him. I also expect Doyle will come in to replace Traore.

We’ve got a good recent record against the Blades. In the last 12 meetings we’ve won 8, drawn 2 and only lost 2.

It’s 20 years ago now since we beat them 3-0 at Cardiff in the play off final. Time flies

At a wedding on Saturday, so going to miss this one. With or without Neto, we should be winning this.

I have a ticket for this and a 100% win rate for the away games I have been to so far-Everton and Bournemouth
It would be interesting to see Sasa start

Hope nobody accuses you of "picking your matches"

Anthony Taylor who refereed the game against Newcastle last week has been relegated to ref a championship game this weekend. The same thing happened to the refs that covered our away games at Man Utd and Luton

In his press conference for tomorrows game, GON told refs to be careful reffing Wolves games cause it’s likely relegation will follow for them if standards don’t improve

GON also said today that Tommy Doyle twice picked up knee injuries in the summer so has been behind other players in terms of fitness. But he is now ready to play

I think this would be a good game to start Tommy Doyle as we should control possession. It's also against a former club so hopefully he'll have something to prove.

I'm also really content with how GON will switch between 4 at the back and 3 at the back based on situation, even playing hybrid formations where there is a difference between in possession and out of possession.

We really needed more fluidity in the way we shape up, as we saw limitations to the 3 at the back and some instability with 4. We now become less predictable to play against whilst maintaining a solidity at the back.

Wolves remain hopeful that Neto will be fit after the November international break which potentially makes him available for the trip to Fulham on November 27th.

Bellegarde is expected to be in contention to return to the squad tomorrow

posted on 3/11/23

Actual situation is this

“ Pedro Neto will not be back before the international break as the winger is still "a few weeks" away from being available. There is no clear timescale for his return and the plan is to assess his injury again after the break.”

Rushing players is evidently not in the plans. Rightly so. The more sensible date for his return is the home games against Burnley or Forest 👍

Neto will know when he's ready to return, especially as he is well aware that returning too early can prove costly. He's in what can be described as the best form of his life right now.

From the one and only E&S:-

O’Neil seemed upbeat on the severity of the injury after the game and Neto himself posted on social media saying he would be sidelined for ‘a couple of weeks’, but regardless of the length of the lay-off, Neto is not expected to play any part in tomorrow’s trip to Sheffield United.

Neto will absolutely not know when it’s time to return, he will need to be guided by the medical team at Molineux. Raul Jimenez came back too soon and look how that ended.

We need to hope Neto doesn't have a pro cyclists mentality when it comes to injury. ah shat, busted leg, knee cap dislodged, lacerations all over and a dislocated face....I am good, let me back on my bike ffs

Wolves youngster Tamanda Chirewa has travelled with the first team to Sheffield today and could get a place on the bench. The attacker was signed from Ipswich in the summer and made a big impression for the U21s. He has been nominated for PL2 player of the month for October

Doyle starts. Sasa leads the line and hopefully provides an out ball.

Strong bench.

Expecting a battle to be honest. Blades are desperate for points but I think we have the edge in every department, if we can weather the storm we should get something out of it.

Sa, Semedo, Kilman, Dawson, Toti, Ait-Nouri, Lemina, Doyle, Hwang, Cunha, Kalajdzic.

Subs: Bentley, S.Bueno, Doherty, Jonny, Traore, Gomes, Bellegarde, Sarabia, Silva.

Wolves release fresh reports that Neto could be out for an “extended period”.
