Anyone got a link for the live game tonight?
I suspect everyone is still exhausted after the U23's or whatever in mid-week.........
The two Graham Hicks of Div 1. The flat track bullies. Can score against the bottom teams but struggle against those at the top.
Remember a few seasons writing that we had to beat Barnsley if we have any pretentious of being promoted. Vidal of course said that I was talking nonsense. We lost and weren’t promoted so make what you want of that. Any similar feelings about this game. A test of our mettle.
Home form has gone from abysmal to brilliant. Away form has gone in the opposite direction.

Its on FB Scouse, but thats no good for you ?
Seen the best part of the first half, very classy performance from the young Rams up to then.
Just the way I like to see our Derby teams play
Just watched highlights of FA Youth Cup game agin Mansfield and again what a delight to see so much talent in our 2-0 victory. Highlights not quite long enough to show who really excelled though the following were noticeable for sure - Brown, Mc Andrew, Gill and the goalie Thompson who made one spectacular save from Mansfield's only apparent attack. So it was a bit like watching the first team pile on the pressure and see shots blocked etc but a goal right at the start and a second right at the end saw them through easily enough.
Maybe Spart has hit on something here. Instead of going to the trouble of playing 46 games we should just play Barnsley once each season, since apparently this one fixture will determine our fate.
Starting XI:
Thompson (GK), Perry (83' Osayande), Gill, Hawkins, Cox, Robinson (C), Osong (46' Gough), Eames, Brown (57' Wheeldon), Allen, McAndrew.
Make a note of those names. In my view a fair few if them will have a decent future in the game, hopefully with us.

Possibly not great value for season ticket holders though …
Mornin’ y’all
MATCH DAY!!!!!
Ang,
You’re on GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL etc duty
Sadly if I get a Wi-Fi connection at PP al I can usually manage is a paltry GGGGOOCHJLLX celebration
I doubt there will be any surprises in the line-up but surely Wilson has a strong case to start ahead of Barkhuizen. I thought that playing Hourihane deeper to orchestrate the play and Smith and Bird getting further forward worked well last week so we will see if Warne is brave enough to do it today. Potentially it leaves us exposed to a counter-attack. Cashin had a great game against the kids of Wolves but probably Bradley keeps his place.
Good luck to the Rams today, and everyone have a safe journey.

Derby team: Wildsmith; Nyambe, Nelson, Cashin, Forsyth; Smith, Hourihane, Bird; Barkhuizen, Collins, Mendez-Laing.
Subs: Vickers, Weston, Robinson, Sibley, Fornah, Bradley Wilson.
Ward and Washington injured.
Still not ready to be risked.
How many minutes did Ward play midweek?
