I've seen so many different opinions on endos game today.
Imo he was the weak link in the team, so slow lost possession countless times.
Can we please stop mentioning thiago
Can we please stop mentioning thiago
Also we need players back desperately. That bench today was basically an academy bench.
And I hate int breaks we always gets injuries.

Endo is a shirt seller and nothing else. He’s just about good enough for the squad.

But Harsh. I think ge gad ab average game today
Was good to see endo getting a start before city game. Think he shows a lot fight but he lacks pace badly. That being said so does mccallister. So it comes down to who is the more disciplined in the dm role.
For me Mccallister is absolutely wasted as a 6. Hes not very good at it, clearly doesnt enjoy it and it diminshes his game. He will be far more effective in 1 of the other midfield positions. Endo, despite his flaws, is much more disciplined in that role and for City away I think thats more important.
Id like to see Endo Mccallister and Szob for city. I honestly think if we go with mccalister as the holder city will wipe the floor with us regardless who the other 2 are.

I don't know if Endo is more disciplined. He is rahlsh in the tackle at times, should have been off midweek and was borderline today.
In Endo’s defence, Klopp hasn’t started him too often in the league. Obviously takes time to understand the system, but you need games when you join a new league, even with his experience.
As well the system we play being so open at times, he’s just unfortunately got that athleticism at times in the defensive transitions. Still better than Mac in the 6 for me. But obviously others disagree.

Agree with all that . Re the DM I am still confused as to why we aren’t looking at Andre . Given we bid for Caicedo then we knew we wanted a DM and yet now we are saying we are happy with thiago Endo and bajetic. Doesn’t make much sense
I’m not surprised the club is putting out the message we don’t want a DM… it’ll inflate the price. We went into the summer saying we’d add 1 or 2 midfielders and we brought in 4. With the Caicedo bid we at least know money is there

Id agree he can be rash with the tackles, probably couldve worded it better, I feel he just understands the position better than mccallister does and is more disciplined it his positioning, reading of dangerous situations etc.
Teams get at our defence far too easy when mccallister is the 6 and against city thats suicide for me. I also think we will benefit seeing him further advanced in midfield where he excelled for brighton. Appreciate hes playing 6 just now as weve nobody else really and again theres not much in it but I'd just edge it in endos favour to start there against a team that are going to be putting us under constant pressure.
We'll have to agree to disagree on that one. I would be starting Mac Allister there. Would be a huge risk to start Endo, based on his showings so far.
you do realise Brentford are a clearly bottom half side who try to park the bus away from home?
so what a few players were absent.
it was a must win game and we got the job done
no more no less.
Endo's lack of pace, coupled with his rash tackling and lack of Premier League experience will surely mean that AMA comes back into the side for the City game. His versatility means be is a handy player to have to help close out a game, but so far Endo has looked fairly limited at this level. I think Klopp and his backroom staff realise it too.
