One of the adults on the other thread actually made a good point about the Europa League. A final for everyone who finished 2nd, before the CL final? Of they are random groups then there could be 2 in a group much worse than 1 in another group.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Kuntropa league - I suggested it last year, that was the inaugural comp.
It should be here this year also - it’s an important award that’s got Knobbings name written all over it this year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did they do it last year?

Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax —
Of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot —
And whether pigs have wings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shoes, ships, and sealing wax all serve practical purposes. Shoes are worn for protection and comfort, ships are vehicles for transportation across water, and sealing wax is traditionally used for sealing letters or documents.
Kings represent royalty, power, and authority, often associated with grandeur and majesty. On the other hand, cabbages are humble vegetables, often associated with simplicity and everyday life. The combination of the two in the phrase could symbolise the coexistence of the majestic and the ordinary.
In areas with significant geothermal activity, such as volcanic regions, underwater volcanic vents can release hot gases and fluids into the ocean. This can create localised areas where the water temperature is much higher than the surrounding sea.
Pigs, as they are known today, are terrestrial mammals adapted to life on land. The development of wings would require a complex series of genetic mutations, anatomical changes, and adaptations that are not within the scope of natural evolutionary processes for mammals.

Donkeys r grate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Donkeys are remarkable animals that possess a range of qualities that make them great. Here are five reasons why donkeys are appreciated:
Hardworking and Versatile:
Donkeys are known for their strength and endurance, making them excellent working animals. They have been historically used for various tasks, including carrying loads, plowing fields, and providing transportation. Their ability to work in challenging conditions makes them valuable in agricultural and rural settings.
Intelligence and Problem-Solving Skills:
Donkeys are often praised for their intelligence. They are quick learners and can demonstrate problem-solving abilities. Their keen sense of awareness and ability to assess situations make them adaptable to different environments.
Gentle and Affectionate Nature:
Donkeys are known for their gentle and sociable personalities. Many people find them to be affectionate and easy to bond with. They often form strong connections with their human caretakers and can be gentle companions, especially in situations where a calm and steady temperament is desired.
Low Maintenance:
Donkeys are generally hardy animals that require relatively low maintenance compared to some other livestock. They are known for their ability to thrive in diverse climates and can subsist on coarse vegetation that might be less appealing to other animals. Additionally, they are often more resistant to certain diseases than other equines.
Effective Guardians:
Donkeys are natural protectors and can be effective guardians for other livestock, such as sheep and goats. Their innate sense of territoriality and strong instincts make them vigilant against potential threats, including predators. This protective quality is particularly beneficial for farmers and ranchers seeking a reliable guardian animal.
While these are positive aspects of donkeys, it's essential to remember that individual temperament and behavior can vary among donkeys, just as with any animal. Proper care, attention, and understanding of their needs contribute to a positive relationship with these wonderful animals.

Do pigs care what they could evolve into? They'd be dead. If I were human would I care if in a million years humans could grow antlers? Our natural instincts are to preserve the future of our species and other species work tirelessly throughout their lives to achieve this but our day to day behaviours don't really suggest that we have the same priorities. We hardly ever talk about it either. Usually just the future of our planet which isn't human specific.

A poor group.
I abstain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What would you like to talk about instead?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax —
Of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot —
And whether pigs have wings.

Boris, fair play dude....On your own thread, nominating yourself for it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He never other posters must have nominated him
Personally I wouldn’t say any of these lot are caants but I do love how Sheriff hates Spurs with a passion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
not the only Spurs hater on here though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a perfect example of the self awareness issue. Posters like Morespuunk are a huge part of the reason so many have an issue with Spurs

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty sure
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I would have noticed. I am a very turned on member on here and don't tend to miss things like this.

Maybe there was something wrong with your eijs

Well, I sincerely hope no pigs are reading this, to have their dreams, their aspirations of upward mobility, so cruelly shattered π

Weak group. Probably between strike and sheriff. Not sure why Robb is in this, wouldn’t vote for vc either but his brash to seal approach to eejits may earn him some votes.
