If the team were getting worse you might see some logic in this forecast. In fact they have got better - we were in the bottom 2. They have at least sustained their present position over recent matches and winning at Accrington with one of several much improved displays points to consolidation at the very least.
So I don’t agree. I think we’ll be in the top half in May and possibly as high as 7th.
I saw the article on this in the Free Press, and wondered if it had been written weeks ago. I did a quick calculation and if you take our average points haul per game from game 8 onwards and project that to the end of the season, we would end up in or around 6th place.
