Hahaland seemed a bit petulant at the end , went all berserker

Baffling decision
You really don’t know about football do you. The referee having played the advantage realised that Grealish may be offside that’s why he blew the whistle. It was actually good refereeing.

Pep has always spoken highly of him since City played a friendly against a team Ange managed in Japan.

May be offside 🤣
1. He was well onside, so you think it's acceptable for the ref to just guess?
2. That's the (was) the linesmans job to flag offside
3. Could have let play go on and let the video interference ref check it afterwards, which it would have stood as he was on. Had Grealish went onto miss, nobody would have said anything.
Had he blown for a foul on Haaland, nobody would have battered an eyelid. Had he let the play go on like he originally decided to, he'd have received a heck of a lot of credit for playing a good advantage.
Most embarrassing decision ive seen for years.

What are you on about?
How many games of football has he watched in his life? We've had multiple patently more embarrassing decisions just this season alone. What a bunch of cry babies for real. The diva strops on the pitch were far more embarrassing than the officiating.

Just asking but don't they usually wait for offsides to be checked after the play has played out?
No difference to me one way or another but he was onside anyway

Yeah, I don't understand this argument either.
Aside from the fact that Grealish was miles onside, the officials are supposed to let the attack come to a conclusion before giving offside – which is surely the lineman's job anyway, not the ref's, as he was in no position to give an offside decision.
Why should this be any different just because the ref was playing an advantage?
Because the ref was scared sheetless that City had lost possession and he had not given the free kick for a blatantly foul. He probably thought he was doing City a favour and avoiding the diva strops, but he got it wrong and the divas laid it on him.

Is that how you saw it? fair enough, had a good few looks at it and it looks when he does eventually blow he would be able to see Grealish had the ball?
Each to their own however, the guy made a mistake and I'm sure there isn't a ref working in the EPL who hasn't made at least one this season
Don't think he would be able to tell personally. How it looks on TV is not how it looks or works in real life.
