Not comparing the 2 even if there is some similarities but Ronaldo didn’t look like he would become even a 20 goal a season player at 19.

Not there yet. Exact same thing he did for years. Not one good cross, not one good striker on goal, not one good run. You look at garnacho and compare to him, and you see what he's not. And he's 5 years older.

Against Bayern and Liverpool I'd defo go with Mainoo and Amrbat for the first half. There will be a dilemma of dropping McT who is our biggest goal threat right now, but he can come on in the second half and still malke an impact

This is the benchmark now, nothing less will do. I can forgive missed chances but never lack of effort, that's the minimum I expect from professionals.
I am not sure how true it is that Eth is overworking the players before games, if that's the case he needs to strike a balance but in all honesty our players pick and choose when to turn up, when to put a shift in, they'll revert to type soon!
