If we had a proper goal scorer up top as well as Sima we might even be in with an outside chance of this league.
Danilo has a lot of good attributes. He also seems to have the unwanted attribute of missing multiple chances.

might be, the only chance we have will be due to his contract only having a year left in the summer.
If he maintains his start to the season there will be plenty of interest in him however.
We could afford 7m - if not for the issue of needing a large number of other positions improved

yeah? I never really seen it with him last night, for me it was a case of him not struggling rather than playing well.
Lundstrum once again ran that midfield for us last night. He and Sima have been the best performers by quite a distance under Clement.
also that might be the last time we see Yilmaz play in a gers top.
I think Clement will use Sterling there now and Yilmaz will be sold in January.
Cifuentes is far too passive at the moment.
Sure he won a couple of balls back and did ok. But there was zero aggression and zero character from him.
He just floats about on the fringes of the game occasionally nicking the ball back and playing a simple pass.
He needs to do a whole lot more than he has shown so far to be a Rangers player for me.
I heard reference on the radio again last night that there was 'loads of hype around cifuentes' before he came. It was Beale who talked him up.
Beale - the guy who spunkked £8m on Lammers and Dessers - currently valued at around £1m each if we are lucky.
I think its safe to say Beales judgement on players wasnt the best.

hit and miss tbf, he got it correct with Cantwell, Butland, Danilo, Sima IMO.
And Lammers berating of McCausland last night was nothing short of shameful.
McCausland, who had worked his socks off all night, knocked a ball in to Lammers who then knocked it on into an empty space about 40 yards in front of McCausland. He then very clearly and very publicly slated him for not chasing his terrible knock on which he was never getting near in a million years.
Lammers is a poor footballer and clearly a bit of a clown too.

Seen that wasnt sure if Lammer was moaning at him not being in that space to run on to or if he was moaning that Mcausland didnt play the ball into that space.
Either way doesnt take away from how rotten he is

The misses are pretty critical ones though. His whole objective of the summer rebuild was to add quality in the final third.

seems to me that Beale was almost working on older targets we had when he was here first time assuming that they would all be in the same form etc... thankfully looks like we aint repeating that this time and making sure our recruitment team are the ones lining up the transfers and targets.

Raskin inconsistent this season but definitely makes that list of good signings. Only 22 and rest of team were rotten too, so can be forgiven for that.
Would like to see Sterling given a chance as looked good yesterday and other options there are poor. Dowell another one Clement mentioned, no idea whether he’ll make grade but looks another injury dud.
Still question marks over Danilo though, gone missing in recent games and big chances missed yesterday. Overall play yesterday was good otherwise to be fair though. Been easy for him to look good given Dessers performances up top.
