If paying United supporters continue to empty Old Trafford as quickly as yesterday before the end of home games... and if there is any suggestion that some will even consider staying away rather than turning out to watch these chit shows, (home games come thick and fast atm) the managers immediate future is very much in the balance. Uniteds next two matches are massive for the guy. Its just as well we have an away draw in the Cup.
It actually wouldn't surprise me if we got a useless draw against Bayern.
But it's hard to see anything other than a repeat of last season at Anfield.
The club clearly needs to bleed some more before anything is done. I can't see us winning another game until 2024 now.
Even this minority investment is dragging its feet.
This club will be the death of me I'm sure.

Dressing room problems and the fans are two of the biggest issues that get managers the chop. Whether he deserves it or not isn’t that relevant, I think if things don’t improve he will get sacked as we’ve seen it before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With the games coming up it's certainly possible the club will sack him. But they need to give him the vote of confidence first as is usually the order of things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True.
Even if the club are thinking of sacking him January is probably a better time as the run of games then seems a bit easier. It'd be a real baptism of fire for the new manager if we end up sacking him now.
I've said it before and I'll say it here. Such is the madness at OT don't be surprised if Ole comes in as an interim...
I get the impression the only reason he's still in the job is because the club has no idea where to go next

We were better under Ole as much as that annoys many people on here. We are scoring 0.5 goals a game less now.
Ole is better than this numpty and he wasn't the answer either.

Sounds like he'd be interimming Ole.
It would be a surprise if he's still in charge in January with what else we have coming up this month. Next Sunday may well finish him off if we see anything like a repeat of last season which seems more likely than us putting in any type of positive performance.
At least we won't have to watch Bruno and his embarrassing behaviour.
I genuinely have no idea who could take over.
You need really something short term until the summer because the options are very limited for long term contracts.
There aren’t many (any?) ex- Utd players/ managers you can bring in for that role at the moment.
Really we can only hope ETH keeps his head above water for now and Ratcliffes lot sign the dotted line ASAp giving them a few months to plan for the summer.
I've no idea really who could come in and steady the ship.
I know it'd never happen, and it would be a bit of a disaster, but part of me would like to see Keane manage this lot!
A new manager may improve the teams performance but he won't be able to solve uniteds main problems.

That’s the problem, no one has any idea who that would be.
You’re welcome to Brendan Rodgers any time you like. I’ll drive the cant down there myself.
