Unbelievable stat.
Obviously years ago the league owners got together for a meeting on how to make it harder for Leeds to win the sacred cup.
All twenty owners at the time voted for this rule to make sure Leeds would forever have to play on the road. Even ken Bates.
Thought it was 13 games but do know 32 out of our last 37 cup games have been away from home
I did dig out our recent record in the cup and the stat of reaching R4. I posted it on here last season and its atrocious 😅 We genuinely are awful in it. I hope under DF and the new owners we can restore some pride in the best cup competition in domestic football.
Peterborough scored another 3 yesterday and have 40 now for the season, genuine banana skin if we ain't on it.
Does the game at Elland Road against Rotherham on 9th Jan 2016 count as an away game? or the one on the 5th (Birmingham) and 27th January 2013 vs Spurs .
Lazy journalism.

it is 13 ties in a row drawn away from home since Rotherham.
Last decade;
Lost 7 of the 10 ties in the opening round (R3)
Last 20 years
15 times out of 20 knocked out in R3 or lower

Of course, the odds against any combination of draws over a thirteen year period will be exactly the same, it's just that the FA milk out ties for minnows against Leeds as a way of boosting gates and tv viewing. Of course it's rigged, but we should be winning a lot more of them than we do.
Another year, another banana skin, albeit a posh one. The FA must be running out of minnows to draw us against?

Your not seriously suggesting that its rigged 🤣🤣🤣

Leeds were handed a trip to League One side Peterborough United which created history for a club being handed the most consecutive away draws in the FA Cup, the Whites drawn away for the 13th time in a row.
It means that the guy pulling out the ball pulled ours out on an even number the last 17 times.
That's it, that's what it means.
There is no God, there is no conspiracy there is no giant magnet.
It's just that it happened

Our ball is the size and weight of a pool ball, thats how it is pulled out everytime for an away game.
Our ball is microwaved for 60 seconds before it starts.
League one and below teams, balls are left in freezer over night 👀

If you watch closely, sometimes you can notice the pundits that are picking them jolt backwards suddenly, they basically get a little electric shock if they pick either Manchester clubs after another top side gets picked beforehand.
Never mind betting on a 100 points and 100 goals, this is where the smart money should have been placed.
It’s got something to do with anal beads … 😳
I get it now Donn, I too am going a bit deaf, not 17 but 13, but it's an exceedingly bad run of luck that some teams don't seem to fall foul of, City, Spurs, Man Utd amongst other always seem to get favourable draws. Very rare they get an away draw and a difficult tie.
Another thing that bugs me about the FA Cup is the TV coverage. A few years ago the BBC picked a non league club at random let's say Eastleigh this season, they were drawn at home to Boreham Wood who they beat 5-1, in the second round they played Reading in the second round at home who they beat 2-1 and have drawn Newport County or Barnet away in the third round if they lose the baton of coverage will pass to one of those two sides and so on all the way to the final. That surely is the romance of the cup. The BBC did this for a while but succumbed to commercial pressure. If I want to watch Atrsenal vs Liverpool I can tune in to that twice a year on Sky, there's no romance in that.
Over here the 1st Bundesliga clubs in the round that they enter the cup their first game is always away!..
That's to give the smaller clubs a bit of a boost and a small chance of getting little a further!..
Mind, the same as with us, the little clubs sometimes upset the big boys big time!..
If they are going to rig it, at least they could do it properly. Colchester away next season?
The U21s have just beat Colchester u21s.
The odds of 13 away draws on the bounce is over 8000:1
Knew you were all itching to know.
