The ref didn’t give Bissouma red, it was VAR.

My comments refer to Yates behaviour, I have no argument with Bissouma’s red!

It is maddening when you watch games and see players get away with a lot, and then at other times one foul = yellow card. The other thing refs seemingly do is let a lot go, and then as soon as one yellow is shown the next foul by the opposition is also a yellow. This often means one team is given licence to foul while the other get a booking for pretty much the first one.

However, the indiscipline of Spurs is crazy at the moment. Arsenal have been hauled over the coals for our disciplinary record at times, Spurs at the moment are at least as bad. Don't think there has been any real argument over the 4 reds.

None at all. The ref got them all right. You could argue we could have had more.

Not sure if the highline we play has any influence but we seem to be playing right on the edge with every tackle

Spurs need to stop looking at refs and look at their own players. Some don't have the concept of fair tackling and think each tackle is an excuse to break or attempt to break opponent's leg!
This ill-discipline will cost Spurs dearly in the end. Ange need to stamp som authority and ensure the players operate within the laws of the game.
Losing Bissouma now is totally stupid and hurts the club more.
Time to put some boundaries on discipline.

Happens every week, certain players are given an extra 2/3 fouls then the opposition get a yellow for their first.

Our lack of discipline is definitely a cause for concern.

Far more annoying was the soft as shiete yellow for Udogie - which was also on Yates. Udogie was stupid for committing the foul when he didn’t need to, but in the context of the game it was never a yellow - far worse challenges were put in before and after that didn’t get a card - Romeros for instance.

We got the points but it was another costly night for us, guaranteed to have two first teamers missing now for Everton and we have to hope that both Johnson and GLC recover in time, otherwise we look threadbare.

You have to look at the manager and the style of play. One of the cornerstones of Angeball is aggressive pressing and tacking - the eagerness to win the ball is required but we just stray over the line at times. Only natural for a team learning the way. It will come. I remember Wengers early teams had lots of red cards

Udogie made no attempt to win the ball and the player was moving into a dangerous position. Well deserved.

Romero clearly won the ball. Correct decision.

Why do you constantly make things up? 😂

I value your opinion as much as something as I have just trod in.

I’m surprised you are still on here giving your “view” after being ridiculed last night for claiming the club should sell Bissouma because of 2 red cards

Faaaacking muppet

No way I’m filtering you, like I said before I filtered you because you were boring, very boring. Last night though that Bissouma comment finally interested me, you have great comedic value - you might be the Donald Trump of this board - I can’t wait to see what ridiculous nonsense you come out with next

Ha! Strikemug. Remember that's your nickname on here and for very good reason. You constantly make yourself a target on here by writing BS after BS.

But I am glad you have finally found your balls and are prepared to debate me. Well done. This is the first step to becoming an adult for someone like you.

Now because I don't believe you, there is a good chance you will filter me again because when I see BS I will call it out. You and Devon are easy pickings 😂.

And next time just filter me. No need to write me a love letter like you last time in Devon's high line article. There's a good girl 😂

Now, about Bissouma. Three suspensions in seventeen games. He is a ticking time bomb. He isn't an nasty dirty player, he is just dumb and at 27 years old, he should have learned by now the simple rules of the game.

I remember when Utd were keen on Eric Dier for £50m before he became a dud and we regret it today. We shouldn't make the same mistake with Bissouma. He is not as good as we think he is and is replacable.

If we can't sell him Jan he should be out in the summer. And I wouldn't be surprised if he got suspended before the end of the season.

posted on 16/12/23

Also Romero is another ticking time bomb with Sarr and Udogie a level below. These suspensions are going to catch up with us and have done tbf. Sell the silly idiot.

Considering he stopped the player from potentially crossing the ball or even shooting I don't think it was.

posted on 16/12/23

Remember under AVB when the media created a "Bale is a diver" narrative, and we went on to play a whole season without being given a single penalty kick.

The same thing is happening with Romero etc being given a dirty tag by the media, the referees now have it in their heads before a ball is even kicked that our players like a bad tackle, so there is no wonder they are quick to dish out cards to our player like confetti while players at other clubs are let off with the same offences or worse.

A similar thing is happening after that week long outpouring of grief and "Pool were robbed" / hard done by campaign after the Spurs v Varpool game. Nobody has had a decision against Varpool since, as the narrative that Pool are owed something is now firmly entrenched in the minds of the officials.

It`s easy for the media to engineer a narrative if they want to, and this affects the officials decision making.

posted on 16/12/23

The ref could have easily booked Romero yday for that tackle, which looked bad but he didn't, so your argument about him being tagged dirty does not add up one bit.

posted on 16/12/23

The fact is Romero is a dirty caaant. The whole world knows it. He is another on thin ice.

Udogies yellow card was a joke, a shoulder to shoulder coming together, he was just too strong for the Forest player who could not wait to fall over, it was a foul at worst. I`ve since the likes of TAA do similar or worse and not even give away a free kick.
