Everton if anything were galvanised by the deduction - siege mentality.
We have a great record over Everton though, they are the team in Prem history we have taken the most points against - mostly because they have never been relegated from the Prem (not including when it wasn’t called the Prem). It’s been about 5 years since we failed to beat them at home - should be winning and then a tough trip to the Amex before Bournemouth at home.
7 points will see us still in the hunt for a CL spot with a load of players to come back

I think how Dych managed the situation and got a reaction out of his players is actually an indicator of how good he is in thi skind of situation. "Them & Us" situations. We need to be wary of teams that come to us feeling this way as this is a powerful emotion and we could underestimate them under the stats that we "always" fare better agains them. This is an exceptional case and we should treat it as such.
If we approach them with a professional attitude and be mindful of the runs of their players, like McNeil and Beto, we should look to come out on top.
Serioulsy though, it has become that much more difficult of an encounter because of their red hot form right now.
