Sinisterra yes. Arronson fak no.

Sini yes. We need all the help we can get. If Willy leaves then we won't have to sign another winger. Antony doesn't offer us anything and would be better off going to someone like Norwich, West Brom etc. Dont want or need Aaronson or any of the others back.

why is willy leaving ?

Sinni is better than Anthony.

But Anthony hasnt been played enough, simple as that, good player

They both couldn't wait to jump ship.

Let them rot on the benches of their new clubs.

There are other, better choices of players out there.

There is a European championship coming up and he's on the bench against Plymouth and Rotherham. He needs game time and he isn't getting enough here. I genuinely can see him going back to Italy. There is a rumour going around that Spurs want him and will use Rodon as part of the deal.

That would be better for us 👍

Who are these players, we can get in Jan ?

Bali Mumba - 12 goals/assists in L1 last season. 4 this season and he's a left back. Wont cost much as he's at Plymouth and they got him from Norwich.

Divock Origi (loan) - Will divide opinion but he was a super sub for Liverpool and aint playing that much for Forest.

Skipp - Usually a sub for Spurs, was excellent at this level for Norwich. If they bolster in Jan, perhaps we can loan him.

Keen to hear other people's opinions on targets.

Wouldnt want either back for the club.

However, if they were to come back I persoally think, and I hate to type this, Arronson would be closer to the first team than Sini.

No way he gets in the team ahead of James or Summerville, and Willy is ahead of him on either side of the wing.

If Piroe is injured though he would step in...

Wouldn't surprise me if Sinnistera comes back but no way should we play Aaronnsen again. Defenders would have him for breakfast in this league.

We need to get shot of Firpo and bring in a proper left back. We havent won a game when Byram has been missing but unfortunately he's too injury prone.

I see that point of view, but my only small hope would be, defenders in champ arent anywhere near as good prem, and if he cant do it in champ, you might as well write off the £25m now

You're probabky right but its Scary to think we paid that for him
Sadly If we did try to sell him would be lucky to get one fifth of that fee back.

Was at the Leeds v Cagliari game and Aaronson was terrific that day, so he can do it. Still young too.

This aint the old First Division anymore, this idea that the league is just aload of Central Defeding Lurches aint the case.

He would need to bulk up a bit, bt apperently he has said that himself.

How anyone can can welcome Sini back but ay they wouldnt welcome Arroonson is beyond me, they did exactly the same thing.

Why would anyone want Sini back when he threatened to sue the club to get himself out. Worst of the players currently out on loan.

Whatever gets us out of this fizzy pop league. We have Ipswich and Southampton threatening us with another season in here, so we might aswell thrown some expensive talent at the cause.

Sini had a contractual obligation to leave if the release clause was triggered, he was entitled to go. Not condoning it but that's the sheet show that we were dealt with.

Bring them back, might help give this team a fcking boost.

posted on 17/12/23

Even if Sini were to come back I can't see him playing, especially after Kinnear's comments. We'd probably just loan him out somewhere else, possibly abroad.

In terms of other targets, left-back wise I'd really like Maatsen from Chelsea. Poch doesn't want him, he was brilliant at this level for Burnley last season, and he would fit in well with our other young Dutch players, you'd think. Would probably have to fight off some lower-level PL sides for him though.

I don't think Sini would fancy the championship too much. And as for Aaronson, no thanks, we already have our fair share of nearly players.

Would be much happier if we were in a position to take make a moral stand and let them train with the kids in the event that they do get sent back.

But we ain’t and get a tune out of them and they could cause real problems at this level. Could make all the difference.

Sinisterra is a brilliant footballer and Aaronson does have some good qualities. Aaronson may find that he can hide his flaws, or minimise them at this level and get away with it.

Aaronson would offer the opposite of Piroe in that position. Terrible ball striker, no real awareness of when to give the ball. But turns on a sixpence and very nippy. Qualities Piroe certainly lacks and really doesn’t help us when the opposition sit deep and compact.

100% agree with this sentiment. I accept that my judgement is clouded by the emotion of how those exits occurred. However, I don’t ever want to see any of those kerrunts in a Leeds shirt again. I’m also still waiting for a public apology from Gnonto for going on strike, the little b@stard.

but would you bring back these players, if possible in Jan ?

If it means Bamford gets bumped down to the U21s,
and nowhere near first team, fck yes. In a heartbeat.

Don't want any of the want aways back, in any capacity.

And when we have chance to offload him, Gnonto can go too.

Hell hath no fury like a Leeds fan scorned! These contracts were drawn up by the club so they could cut costs if we were relegated. They were significant wage reductions (more severe than other clubs) so they offered a way out as part of the deal. You can’t do that and bleat if people take you up on it. The players have to look after their careers/finances. If you want to blame someone blame whoever dreamt up the idea at the club.

Loyalty is a bit of an old fashioned concept in modern football. Players get cast aside when they’re no longer of use. You can’t blame them for looking after no. 1. It’s not like they’re local Lads who grew up dreaming to play for us.

I’ve no problem if they came back. And I’d judge them on whether they give their all when they put the shirt on. Down to DF to see if they’d add to the squad talent pool and be a positive influence or not in the dressing room.
