Is it time to bring him back into the team?

Has he shown improvement? No.
Is he defensively any better? No.
Will playing him suddenly improve his form? If 5 months didn't show it, what makes you think it will?

I'm losing patience with him too and if there isn't significant improvement I'd sell him in the summer if there is interest.
However he managed to find form last season after an awful spell similar to one he's had since March, maybe he can do it again.
If he's been performing better in training than others in his position. Yes.

Even his ridiculously erratic form is not what you try to play them out of form. We need stability
He'll probably finish the season well, what with a Euros squad to get into and everything.

Garnacho has been every bit as erratic tbf.
Competition for places is good. Youbhave to keep swapping the players in and out to keep them motivated.
Wish ETH would have done it with Onana and Bayindir. I think the worse thing he did this season was not giving Bayindir the cups and CL games from the start.
No I wouldn’t bring him back in yet. You have to play your way into the team
No goals in three games and he’s our best goalscorer that isn’t Scottish. Yes he needs to be brought back into the side. Would even play him as a striker ahead of Garnacho, Bruno and Martial.

Welbeck registering better stats compared to Rasmus.
I have given this kid a chance, he has to start scoring!!! I told folks before no one gives a damn about running and pressing if you are not scoring as a striker. 45 years old Ronaldo would’ve scored more and zero impact on our style of play because we have none!

Agreed... He's gets off very lightly with the fans (which is the right thing to do, getting on his back will not help)...
But compare it to the vitriol Weghorst got for also running around and pressing... It's night and day.

He proved that he can score goals. But we find it easier as a team to create more chances in the CL than in the PL. I think most fans realise that he has come into an awful setup would probably be banging them in at any other top 10 team.
I wonder if ETH could be tempted to play Hojlund on the right with Rashford up top like so.
-----------Rashford----------
Garnacho-Bruno-Hojlund
Loads of pace there with Garnacho in his favoured position and Rashford in a position where he doesn't have to help the full back. I'm sure Hojlund would though and he may get some more space to operate from there.

I'll rather stick with Garnacho. He can improve, twice the work rate, a better dribbler, team player. Rashford should be sold for as much as we can get and buy someone else. Till then, use him as a sub.
Garnacho hasn't been as erratic as Rashford.
Even if he has you can't fault his effort in defence and in attack. Something Rashy hasn't shown all season
Rash is an option off the bench now. He doesn't put in enough effort to start.
Rashford up front doesn’t work either. He gets the odd score in that position when on form which he certainly is not. At least Hojlunds all round game is decent enough despite not scoring.
If we were a competent club what should have happened with Hojlund is a few starts here and there and also a few cameos off the bench when we're ahead and there are more gaps appearing for him to take advantage of.
Sadly, for him, he's been thrust into the first XI with quite a bit of responsibility. In a team that finds it quite difficult to create for a No9 too. I wouldn't be against playing him off the right on occasion or even put him on the bench and bring him on around the hour mark to work against tiring defences when the game is more stretched. It could just be of course that he just needs a PL goal to get going.
