Dammit. Very disappointing. Tired. Need more rotation.
Typical Leeds. Get our hopes up only to be diminished. Why was Gnonto at Rb. Subs were poor again
Well back to just the play offs. That's a very poor result and flat performance that underlines how inconsistent we are and the set up with 2 holding players and 4 attackers in away games I just don't agree with but having said all that Meslier really let everyone down.
Thanks for the thread Earl pity about the anti climatic result.
We're nowhere near as good as people think,no chance of top two and might still struggle for play offs, simply not good enough. Expect another bad result at West Brom.
Got to be asking questions of Farke now. Patience wearing thin. Don’t want to be the drama queen on here but he can’t adapt. He shows no understanding on how to affect a game.
We need to have different ways of beating teams and be prepared before the game kicks off.
This ain’t football manager
Well, that was a Farke up if ever I saw one.
Most disappointing aspect is how un resolute and dogged we were with 10 men. We always fail to beat 10 men yet they took just 5 minutes to find an opener. Get ourselves level and then concede 5 mins later again. Shut up shop and take the point.

Nahhhh. Most disappointing thing is how bad we looked with 11 men.
Got it wrong from the start.
Subs were poor again.
This throw the kitchen sink at it subs doesn't work.
A lot of players looked knackered and leggy today. This no rotation is absolute nonsense

Agree! When so many deliver sub-par performances that’s on Farke 100%.
No consistency. I’d imagine Ipswich and Leicester would be happy with a point apiece today.
Didn't deserve anything from the game.
Those saying it wasn't a red, have you not been paying attention, the game has evolved, moved on, the minute a player raises a fist to the opposition's head it's deemed violent intent and an automatic red, at the other end, would you expect a red, of course you would. How the player goes down is not really relevant, he doesn't even need to go down but I suppose it helps.
Then, it goes back to my point a few weeks back about how we set up in 11 vs 10 situations. Darlow comes on, you shield him, calm the game down, while their tails are up, take the sting out of the game. Didn't see much of that happening. Hence their first goal.
Fro the second goal think Gray needed to play a little more dirty, he needs to take a yellow on occasion. Miller, what a player by the way, ate Gray up all afternoon. Nearing the end of the game on that occasion a tactical yellow like a lot of Preston players did and like James did once against Ipswich and it snuffs out their goal, hindsight because it was a worldy.
All in all we were not at the races today, created little and didn't really deserve much more than we got.
Fist? He pushed him lightly in the face. It wasn't violent, aggressive or dangerous. The pr/ck cheated and got Meslier sent off. Deserves a ban for deceiving the match official. Its that behaviour/poor gamesmanship that needs eradicating from the game. Meslier gave the ref a decision to make and that's cost us points today.
Head scratching stuff from Leeds. Watching the game with my Dad again who sang our praises against Ipswich said we didn't look like the same side and were distinctly average.
That's Leeds though isn't it and unfortunately even though on our day we can be electric it matters not if too many times like today we turn up like a wet lettuce.

Think your assessment is wrong on so many counts.
To expect us to drop so many points and fall out of the play off positions is just laughable, who out of the chasing pack do you expect to start raking up those points especially given the fact that many will need to come to Elland Road where we have proved pretty much unbeatable.
Secondly, whilst I wouldn't want to lose against West Brom, if in doing so it stimulates some activity through January, that might be a good thing.
I don't think we will finish top 2, I expect Leicester and Southampton to go up automatically and that we will go up via the play-offs. This is our best route in my view.
Yes I think Southampton have a stronger case than us for the top 2.
Dennis you're so naive, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Hull,Watford, Sunderland etc. could easily join Southampton and West Brom in the playoffs

Regardless of whether it's a fist or a hand, it's an automatic red card, "intentional and deliberate contact in the area of the face is not permitted with any part of the hand. Deliberate facial contact cannot be tolerated. Players who intentionally make contact with an opponent's face must be issued a red card for violent conduct"
I think intentionality is questionable, I am not sure how that can ever be determined and that is why all such situations result in a red card. This is how the game has evolved, like it or not, the intention is to safeguard and to make decisions easier for the ref.
Clearly in Meslier's case there was a degree of intention there. Step away and the player doesn't get the opportunity to "cheat". Leave it to the ref to deal with as he sees fit. He got sent off because of his actions not because of the reaction of the PNE player.
Calm down guys. This is Leeds we are talking about. We always make hard work of everything.
There are still plenty of games to play yet.
4th place tonight lads. This kind of inconsistency will cost us big time.

So we are so bad we are going to drop ten points to the chasing pack in the second half of the season.
Yes it could happen but for that to happen our form would have to go off a cliff edge and two or three teams would need to pick things exponentially.
Our recent form hasn't been brilliant but look at Sunderland for example, since beating us they lost away to Bristol City and home to Coventry this is a division packed full of god awful inconsistent sides.
Is our fall from grace what you expect or what you want to happen?
I suppaose losing today the owners will definitely see we need some new signings especially as Kamara and Ampedu looked leggy and had no influence on the game today, couldn't dictate a decent tempo which ultimately sets the tone of a game and this has been repeated too many times this season especially away at Sunderland Stoke and Southampton.
This is Leeds United we can throw anything away, aren't we the only team top at Christmas who didn't go up?
Funny how Lowfields didn’t come on here after we beat Ipswich!
A typical Boxing Day display from Leeds Utd. I think Preston are the dirtiest, most cheating team we have encountered this season. They remind me of the Prem match we had at Burnley when they hacked our players down all game and the ref gave them every decision.
We don’t sing “we have our ups and downs” for nothing. We definitely need a few less of these “downs”. If Ipswich win tonight I think that’s the autos gone, Southampton are more likely than us to get into them.
I think we need to sign a good LB (Charlie Taylor would do for me) and then put Spence or Byram at RB and put Archie back in midfield alongside Kamara and Ampadu. There would be one less attacker, but I’m sure we could still score the necessary goals,
