It has been shocking for 10 years. I totally agree.
Antony is the worst of the lot for me. Onana definitely right up there as well with likes of Sancho and a few others.

But again, what you’re saying is incoherent. You say that “ETH knows those players very well and they’ve been a disaster”. But they weren’t a disaster at Ajax (or Inter). They were very good players for ETH. They’d both performed well in Europe’s elite club competition.
Sancho has been arguably a bigger flop than Antony (almost as much in transfer fees but vastly more in wages) and was posting better numbers in the CL and a tougher domestic league. He’d also spent most of his life in Manchester, making adaptation to his surrounding presumably quite a lot easier. Do you blame Ole, or the people in charge of and who are supposed to specialise in recruitment decisions & negotiations?

They all have data-led recruitment operations that empower them to make decisions an individual manager can't. If ETH is being asked to propose players, it's grossly unprofessional of the club.

We are going around in circles mate. We are all in agreement he shouldn't be leading on recruitment.
He decided to ask for Antony over Kudus. That to me suggests he's a terrible judge of talent. What makes matters worse is Kudus is not only a fat more dangerous attacking player than Antony but he went for half the fee too.

1. Antony is not the worst signing we've made, he's not the explosive winger people thought he would be but he follows instructions and protects the RB.
2. I think Antony may be better deployed on the left or as an attacking midfielder.
3. The worst signing we have made recently is Sancho. He has no heart for the fight and is a waste of space.
4. Manager has issues with tactics, team selections and subs. He's also had to manage a huge injury crisis. Imagine our rivals without their 2 first choice CBs, first choice and 2nd choice LB, no first choice CM/DM. Where do we think they would be?
5. I think the team will get better over the season but the style of play is still not clear to me.
6. Recruitment must improve but I'm happy to see young players come through.
7. Rashford is a senior player now and should be providing leadership. His performances this season have been unacceptable. Martial needs to be sold immediately.
8. Bruno is a problem in the side too and lacks discipline. Was pleased to see Eriksen back. Legs may not be there anymore but his vision still is and he's a quality player.
9. Still not happy about Ratcliffe as in my opinion we missed an opportunity to be debt free and decided to trade one oil baron for another.

We put in our best attacking performance of the season when Garnacho was played there. Something I have asked for months.
Rashford last night got an assist and was a toenail away from another one. Also played a great ball through for when Hojlund was fouled in box. Sadly he was offside.
Rashford is much better than Antony will ever be. It's not even a contest.

Rashford needs to be mentally tougher than he is as he is a great player, needs to sort his head out.
Not suggesting Antony plays ahead of Rashford, I just think he will offer way more on the left where he doesn't have to decide to move the all to his favoured foot before doing something with it.
Part of the problem we have with the wide players are they are, for the most part, not traditional wingers?
Garnacho is about the closest to one but Rashy and Anthony play in different way, I get that the wide position has kinda changed over the years but a player getting to the bye line and getting a cross in is very rare, not saying thats the way forward for Utd but Rasmus could benefit from that kinda play more often?

Sancho's definitely a coward but I think his mins to g/a ratio must be better than Antony surely? It would be hard not to be.
