2-0 Wolves
If Dawson is fit….
Brentford are struggling with a few injuries and have lost 5 of their last 6 games so we’re playing them at the right time. Looks a game set up for the counter attacking game that suits us. Hopefully Dawson is fit to start and Neto ready to at least make the bench. We need to improve our away record particularly in London and this looks like a decent opportunity
All we really need now is to get some consistency to our performances, we've had some great moments at Molineux this season but would be even better to enjoy those with the cushion of a few more away points in the bag.
Feels like now we're in a group of four chasing Brighton for 9th and that's probably the best we can hope for but if we could be more consistent away that could change and even be looking at, well 8th . If we can up the ppg over the second half of the season and have a decent cup run out wouldn't be a bad session at all.
With the way the season started with a last minute change of manager and the new guy being someone many were unsure of, I think survival was a reasonable initial target. So to be pushing for mid table has to be a positive at this stage. A top half finish is not beyond us with a bit more improvement in the new year and hopefully a decent signing or two in January
The away match to avoid just now is Forest. Fortunately we don't play them till April 13 th.
The purists reckon he's a donkey but I wonder how things would have turned out if we'd bought Wood instead of Silva.
I suggested either Wood or Callum Wilson back a couple of years. I reckon either would have done a job for us and that is a type we still need.
Today is a toughie, but with a bit of luck we could get a 2-1 win.
Who only gave a one star .?
Wanted wood years ago when we were in the championship. Solid consistent player. not spectacular but defenders know they are in a game with him.
Louis Moulden has five assists so far this season out on loan.
He is a goalkeeper
Wood got a hat trick last night so is going to attract some compliments. But those goals take him only to a total of 15 in the last two and a half seasons and I’d like think we could find better

I still get a handle on where we will finish, probably somewhere between not quite being relegated and not quite getting into Europe, we need to make the most of Brentford missing so many players we should look at it as a huge chance for an away win
Just the one change to the starting line up with Dawson unfit and Santi Bueno coming in. Neto on the bench but no Fabio again
Dawson out. Santi Bueno in.
Neto returns to the match day squad 👍
