Watching a Spanish TV channel, wonder how much they pay the SPFL for live coverage

Meh, rest and injury / suspension avoidance before the biggest game of the season? Won a watch, bears.
Chartering a plane is very expensive and why should they when it is normally a very do'able bus journey? Ditto paying for an extra night hotel even if available at short notice? Plus the possibility the road still doesn't open giving them a 3rd night in a hotel away from their training facilities and impacting their weekend game prep? A lot of money for wee clubs and why C & R ought to be in a bigger league.
We just have to accept our weather is very unpredictable unless we want to go full diddy and have a summer league?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Summer league would be pretty good in Scotland, realistically European glory isn't a thing and it would give us a football bereft UK to watch the league for 2 months(ish)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was years ago I looked it up, but I worked out something like 80% of game call-offs would have still happened with a summer football calendar, the main difference that they'd happen near the end of the season where we'd struggle to fit in fixtures.
Summer football is a total misnomer anyway. At present the league starts in summer and ends in summer, so both the time people are buying season tickets and the important end-of-season games are during the warmer months. A switch to summer football would have both of those in winter.
As for TV, the League of Ireland used to be on Sky Sports but literally nobody watched it. I doubt your average armchair Chelsea fan is going to tune in to watch St. Mirren vs. Kilmarnock any more than he was going to watch Dundalk vs. (London)Derry City
Why on earth would you want a wall that far out, total waste of man power

speak for yourself, in recent years Rangers are more likely to be involved in europe into March and beyond.
#RangersFC are today delighted to announce the loan signing of Fabio Silva from Wolverhampton Wanderers to the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

Ross Co game is off, mate.
Interesting signing that and good to see the club wrapping up a problem position quickly.
