Rice is great defensively but he doesn't have the passing range of a Partey

Interesting point. So when Partey is fit, where do they all fit in? Both are too good to be benched...

Oomph...to each their own. We dominated possession but I don't think we worked Areola more than 3 times in the whole game. Martinelli missed the target as did Jesus on the two great chances we created. I did not look at that game and think...urgh...we did not deserve to lose that. Possession does not equal a great game to watch.

Also...Saka has become VERY lazy defensively. It's why I prefer Martinelli to an extent...

So if you create 10 great chances with good football but don't work the keeper that's not enjoyable to you?

I don't really know what more we couldve done today. Hit the post, 4/5 good chances on top of that, intense footy, good dribbling, neat passing.

I did not look at that game and think...urgh...we did not deserve to lose that.

Do you, hand on your heart, think we were going to score today? I think we could have shot 30 more times and not scored.

Boring as in predictable. Martinelli and Saka often doubles up on as our fullbacks offer little support. Slinging in crosses to no one. Dribbling for the sake of Dribbling and not creating many clear cut chances. It's been the story of the season to be honest...Wolves, Villa, Today etc...we don't create many great chances and miss a lot of what we do create.

It's predictable for you, because you watch it every week. I still remember the late Wenger years, the emery years and early arteta years. That was boring football.

I'm not saying we were peak Barcelona last night, but the football was generally easy on the eye. My only frustration was the finishing.
