The 1st half shot was Summerville, tipped over. That aside make you 100% on everything. Don't think we would have scored if the game went on all weekend.

aw yes, now I remember it, the highlight of our match
Happy New Year to you. Bring on Brum and Shrek 🤣
Glad you got that out of your system, Jonty. Baggies had our number from the start. The difference is that their coach knew how to beat us, but ours had no idea how to beat them. Those endless high balls into a penalty box filled with 6 foot defenders were not just desperation, they were a mindless waste of opportunity. it was like our players had forgotten what they can do with a ball, and how to move without the ball. There was no communication between them. Farke looked short of ideas and so did his players.
Can't say anything, good points Jonty but Zéro points for us again. Worrying times !!
looking at things realistically accepting we're destined for a play off spot then I see the other 3 sides competing with us being Ipswich, WBA and Sunderland although Boro, Hull and Bristol City could still sneek in.
The point being despite our bad form apart from against Ipswich I don't see anything to be worried about in those other potential play off sides as long as Farke can sort out the lightness in midfield and square pegs in round holes in attack.
Bubble has burst. We looked clueless tonight, out thought, out played and out battled. Tactically it ain't working at all, we look found out and we have no plan b. Playoffs it is unless we conjure up a stunning run of 8 wins, but we don't look like winning 8 more this season.
Announce Rooney's Birmingham winning 1-0 with a goal from the usual 35 year old nuisance Jutkiewicz.

Birmingham won about 1 in 10......you just know they're going to turn it around against us....
Unacceptable, defeat to Brum on Monday and it's good night Farke
A positive, played crap but lost just 1 nil to a flukey goal. We'll be ok, top 6 still nailed on but we need to sort ourselves out because top 2 is a pipe dream rn
Of the three teams who came down, Leicester and Southampton are cruising back to the premiership while us a club three times bigger than either struggle and stutter to stay in top six....... Disgraceful
Agree with nearly all that, especially about Gruev.
I don’t think that top six is a cert - it doesn’t take much of a dip in form to fall away, but we’re always useless in play-offs anyway so for me it’s top two or bust.
Plus - and you’ll probably all think I’m bananas - I am missing VAR. we seem to be consistently on the end of shoddy refereeing decisions in this league.
I know it’s a double-edged sword, but shoot me — I miss it!
Gruev looks like he is a complete waste of club funds. This stage is far too much pressure for him and why he looks like a deer caught in the headlights.Gnonto looks a pale imitation of his former self from 12 months ago and I hope the club let him go in January.
Finally I think we'd all agree that when Leeds are firing on all cylinders there isn't another team in this league that can live with us but the problem I'm now starting to suspect is they need at least a weeks rest between games to get to anywhere near those heights as this month has proved.

I dint know about the others, but did they have as traumatic a time in terms of exits of players on loan with no funds coming in as we did?
Out if our starting line up today only Cooper started in our last Prem match, such has the rebuilding job been

If VAR was just used for penalties and goal line technology then yes I wouldn't mind it but that release of sheer joy when you've scored and the ref is pointing to the half way line that confirms it's a goal without any VAR delay and interference to pick apart the goal may have been technically not a goal by millimeters and destroys all that elation is why I certainly do not miss VAR.
Think any team relegated has problems to overcome, typically Leeds make a complete hash of everything.

I think we had more than most.
I cannot think of any other team in England that ever saw this mass loaning out of players that we saw.
No revenue from those to properly rebuild and left us terribly late in the day trying to patch up a team.
Again how the club has been managed and the situation with mass player exodus = total s**tshow.
I give fake some credit , despite now calling for his scalp. He did steady the ship. But we all know we have 1 chance to get back up before parachute payments ends and a far bigger exodus/crisis will await.
If the.owners want promotion, there is only 1 person to call to take over and thats Marcelo, assuming we can pull him away from Uruguay.
It really is the hope that kills us.
After the pre season debacle and poor start we looked like we were going places only to find two teams above us were almost invincible. A few poor performances and then we're back on track thumping Ipswich.
Can
Now we're back to square one with our annual festive meltdown and it's hard to see any positives at the moment. We should be used to it by now but we never our.
Hope, there's always hope.
I think a good rogering of Wayne Rooney's Birmingham City will put everyone back in fine spirits and all will be well with the world.
VAR or not, doesn't make much difference. Bamford is offside anyways. With or without VAR
On the upside…we are 8 points clear of 7th place.
Ipswich are feeling pressure for the first time this season, I believe Southampton will catch them…with that logic we are only 6 points behind the team we really need to catch.
Morning all🌞.
So, my thoughts on what happened last night are … bitterly disappointed, yes … surprised, no.
I think it was Shaun (?) who did a thread just before the season kicked off, asking us all where we thought Leeds would end up this season (alongside some other predictions). Reluctantly I said Leeds would finish 7th based on the summer melt-down that was happening at the time. DF needs to get a grip of this situation now otherwise I will be proved horribly right.
