Someone's feeling a bit bitter today 😊
Cry some more of thosr salty tears please 😊
Should play in midfield ahead of Rice, someone with technical ability over a guy that just charges around and can't even run a midfield against Fulham.
Awful is a bit much, he's decent enough but you can see the difference when he doesnt have Salah to pick out, those famed long balls are not quite as effective. But yeah defensively he's shocking, his technique is excellent though, strikes a ball so well.
It's always been the case, I even think his perfomances recently have been well over praised.
However he is such a weapon going forward for liverpool. I know he gets a lot of opportunities to do it, but his delivery is fantastic.
Not sure if that's always the case and it's just high attempts = some reward (like ronaldo's free kicks) or if he is just that damn good.
The tackling I kind of agree with, but the positional sense is on klopp and the way he manages liverpool in transitional play - i think accepts that it's a risk he has to take.

. It's a huge myth thatTAA is good in midfield.Yes he can hit a random good pass but will get dominated by any decent midfielder. That's why he doesn;t start there for Liverpool
He got beat twice all game and that was when a fresh Martinelli came off the bench in the 70th minute, one of which Trent was even limping. For the other 89 minutes he was perfect.
I don't know why you have to have a flawless game these days or else you're crap.

We play a high-risk game that trusts our CBs and goalkeeper. Klopp is fine with it and so are Liverpool fans
yeah Ben White is much better,

Yes, as a right back 100% better. In fact Trippier, White, Wan Bissaka should all be ahead of Trent at RB
Imagine if "The Trentertainer" scored the goal Pedro Porro did on Friday. GNev would have jizzed in his pantz and the BBC would have made it headline news.

exactly. Porro is on a different league to Trent. A right back who can actually defend
Trent is the complete footballer. Yeah he might miss out on the odd take on's but he knows he has the man mountain next to him. Every time he plays Arsenal he makes the impact and not Martinelli.

Trent is the complete footballer.
…
Trent is a talented footballer. But in a similar way that Bale started out as a LB, he's not really a RB (I'm not comparing their actual abilities, but just their actual position)
Liverpool accept his defensive fragilities and use him the way they do, England have better 'defensive' options at RB, so just a case of using Trent's abilities further forward or as the game dictates.
Maybe if Klopp brought in an alternative solid RB, he would use Trent further forward, maybe he doesn't want to.
God forbid the best passer of a ball since Beckham should start for England…

Trent inverting is the best position for him. He becomes the spare man in midfield and we know he see's and makes passes which very few footballers see. If Klopp wanted a solid RB then he would play Gomez there but that is not the case.
Trent has won it all and was one of the reasons why we did win so much. We are more than happy with our generational talent.

16 years without a trophy. Unsurprising really.
Trent has kept 4 clean sheets in his last 5 visits to the Emirates stadium.
