Jesus "offers more" and we go on the same runs of goalless games we did with Giroud.
Aubas goal ratio is far greater than Girouds.

Auba was clinical when on form but absolutely gutless when it came to tackles or physicality.

The guy is 6ft 1 but arguably the weakest of all prem strikers in the league when he was at arsenal.

nowhere near the same sample size to compare Jesus.

EPL
143 games - 69 goals 16 assists Aub
255 games - 90 goals 32 assists Giroud

So yes Aub is slightly better but then I didnt say it wasnt I said there isnt a great deal in it and personally I think Giroud offers more when not scoring, and is a better influence on the team.

Giroud - 73 in 180 ( goal every 2.5 games)
Auba - 68 in 128 (goal every 1.8 game)
That's an extra 5 league goals a season, considering Auba played a fair bit out wide and suffered 2 changes of manager in a team on a sharp decline.

And, to note, that is with a massive drop off in output at the end for Auba. His 10 in 13 then two 22 goal seasons averages 24 a season - 9 a season more than Girouds average. Giroud was pretty consistent over his Arsenal career.

Tbh I think there are less and less elite players in all positions. When you look at the likes of Henry, Drogba, Rooney, RVP, Van Nistelrooy and more recently Suarez and Aguero and others, and now you only have Haaland who is at that level
