Any mention of incomings?
Farke had praise for long-time club servant Luke Ayling after he left on loan for Middlesbrough on Wednesday: "He acted with class and style. It was not an easy decision for me. I knew that if I had played him more, he would probably have stayed. I try to act in the best interests of the club."
He did not comment on potential interest in Luton wing-back Ryan Giles, nor on the possibility of any signings at full-back, only adding: "It's not like our numbers in this position are big, so you want to keep a player like Luke."
Sounds like we are looking at full backs.
@PhilHay_
West Ham’s Ben Johnson one of the defenders Leeds United are interested in signing on loan.
Leeds rate Neco Williams highly but Forest unlikely to make him available. Also been looking at Conor Roberts at Burnley.
With Paddy back on form - the full back position has to be the main focus now.

It appears he's back to form but maybe just looked good against league 1 opposition. Fingers crossed he stays fit and kicks on. The Championship is brutal tho.
Really disappointing to hear that Cresswell looks like he's going to leave permanently. I really thought he'd have a successful career at Leeds but I suppose we don't see what goes on behind closed doors and if he's not living up to Farke's standards then like Spence DF doesn't mess about.
I do worry though he'll eventually come back to Leeds in an opposition shirt and make us all say why did we let him go so easily but I'll definitely be following his progress and wish him well.
Also on an unrelated matter, does anyone know if I purchase a £50 club membership now does it last 12 months till January 2025 or does it only last till the end of this season?
Gnonto. Spence. Cresswell. There seems to be a lot of indiscipline in the camp. Is this the residue of the mass exits after last season, or is it indicative of a bigger question about Farke’s management style?
While Farke appears level-headed in his public comments, his actions suggest that, as players, you either toe the line, or you’re out. He has often spoken about how privileged our players are. It feels like he stamps down on players who, he thinks, abuse those privileges, but is not always able to get the best out of them afterwards.

Thanks Stoopo I couldn't see one way or the other on the website but No problem if it's just the season as I plan to go to a home game either FA cup v Plymouth but I'm sure that will sell out quick although using a wheelchair I may be lucky to get a ticket... if not that game then I think Rotherham in February is looking more likely.

We hype our players up too much.
Cressweel has one good game for Millwall suddenly he's going to play for England.
As for this being a Farke issue, Gnonto wanted a move with everyone else going, hard to pin that on Farke, indeed Farke should take credit for turning it around.
Spence's poor attitude has been identified by other managers and his parent club, again, Farke should take credit with dealing with it quickly.
Richard Cresswell recently went public about his son, he should know better than to do that and again, I believe that Farke has judged this perfectly.
So that's Spence, Ayling, Cresswell, Byram and Struijk all out of action. Thank God we still have Firpo, that's all I can say.

Yep.
Not entirely sure Farke says that Cresswell has a poor attitude as such. What Farke described was a guy who had tasted some success at Millwall and with the England set up and as manager he had to take down a peg or two. The arrogance of youth, not necessarily having a bad attitude.
But Farke sometimes really confuses me with his use of language in press conferences, he bends over backwards to be diplomatic and ends up giving out mixed messages.
He says that if there are offers that meet Leeds valuation of him he can leave but so far no such offers have come in. I suppose all of our players are for sale for the right price.
He says that he has a good relationship with Cresswell, pretty sure he said the same about Spence.
He said that Cresswell felt he should be playing in the first team and he has to manage this unrealistic expectation.
Personally, I think he will move on this window but Farke is saying that until Leeds valuation is met he is valued at the club.
Does the PL window close today? I think I read it somewhere. If so I hope no big offers come in for our best players.
Just checked. 1st Feb. Whatever report I read I thought was iffy. Teach me to read whatever it was. 🤣🤣
Looking at the PL transfers I’d say 99% are loans in or out. Spurs been busier than Nat West with loans.
