Ange is 100% trying to find his Kyogo that he had at Celtic. Currently lacking that
Well time will tell I suppose, from what I understand his form has been pretty poor and his confidence pretty low, so it’s up to Ange to work his “magic”
He will keep full backs pinned back and allow us to dominate - he compliments our style well. If he can get 5 or 6 goals in the remainder of the season then that is a big tick

have a feeling he will score more than hlaf a dozen
Get ready to check the offside flag every time you score cos 9 times out of 10 he will have been offside.
Caveat it with defenses are better in PL it won't be as easy as some of those goals in my clip.

Described Son and Richi too. Son has scored 5 or 6 this season that have been ruled out, and Richi was born offside.
Is Nunez off much? Think his issue is that he couldn’t hit a cows arris with a banjo.
As Strike has said, Werner’s skill set compliments Anges system - pace and hard pressing allows us to pin the opposition back, dominate the ball and play high up the pitch with a high line. It just gives Ange more options without having to bring players on that disrupt our flow. He’s not here to be the main man up top or bang in a load of goals, I don’t think anyone should be expecting that, it’s all about building a cohesive collective. He’ll cover for Son on the left until the Asia Cup is over I should think.
I reckon we'll see him replace Richarlison up front if he's having a bad game. Seems like a pretty similar player except quicker

In the short term this allows Johnson to go on to the right where he is way more effective. Deki into Madders role, behind Richi.
When we have our key players back then Werner becomes a bench warmer.
Its a great place to be tbh. Half a dozen goals from the guy would be decent output.

I don’t think he necessarily becomes a bench warmer. He is faster than Richi, and if he proves himself to be more clinical he could relegate Richi to the bench. Equally if Ange wants to play Son through the middle then Werner probably becomes his strongest option from the left. What we have now is an interchangeable group of options in attack - especially given that GLC and Kulu are able to play the no10 if Maddison isn’t there.
Will be interesting to see how he gets on. Could do really well but equally he could flop hard.
I think Ange is capable of giving players plenty of confidence and that might be exactly what Werner needs to stop being so poor in front of goal. On paper he could be excellent but seemed an absolute donkey at Chelsea.

While I agree Ange can be an inspiration, i just think the way we play gets the best of of these attacking players.
A team built around attacking and creating chances will see attackers flourish and perform at their best, whether the manager gives them a rousing talk or not.

If going by how Ange set his teams up with Celtic its more likely Werner has been signed to play wide and not up top.
I expect him to use Werner in the same way he used Maeda @ Celtic.
We have seen Son play wide and through the middle. Richy also. Johnson has played L & R.
I think Werner just adds to these options and will be used in any of these positions.

This season? Ambitious but not impossible I guess.
This United game feels big, win this and I reckon we’re nailed on for top 4, draw or lose and it becomes more of a slog to the finish with us potentially keeping our fingers crossed 5th gets you in.
That’s short term though, long term I love what I am seeing at the moment

I dont think a draw is an issue, especially with the players missing. It keeps United 8 points behind us and we'd have to implode to let that lead slip, especailly as their form aint great either.
A loss, suddenly it's 5 points, them with renewed hope which could put them on a roll.
I'd take a draw right now!

I just think a win propels us further and really puts some fear into the likes of Arsenal and Villa - we have a fairly benign run after this game until those final 6 matches - with a full squad, lots of confidence and the injury crisis gone we could go in another run like the start of the season
