Another century for Ronnie and he wins 6-1. Devastating performance from him. I'm really worried about the final tomorrow.

The several final defeats in the last 2 years have definitely scarred him, particularly Mark Allen, & the worst Neil Robertson... Will he win another?

Hard to see it, the annoying thing is that he looks good some matches, then dreadful the next. Cant seem to sustain his performance in a week. Now his ranking is slipping he will come up against top players earlier.

Its a shame ive been roped into taking my nephew/niece to the fecking soft play centre tomorrow afternoon

I think because of what Ronnie is doing, and to a slightly lesser extent what Williams has been doing, it's easy to forget that for Higgins to still be competing at this level is remarkable. More mistakes are creeping in and the consistency isn't there, but he's still competing.

If it wasn't for Ronnie or Williams, we would be saying, look how well Higgins is still being able to compete

Judd has lost his last 3 ITV finals. Plus his last 3 matches against Ronnie. 2 of them were finals. He's got to somehow change that tomorrow. He can't afford to have a slow start.

I take slight issue with those saying ‘if it wasnt for Williams’. He has only won a couple of British Opens in the last few years, John has gone deeper in a lot more tournaments, although he has crumbled at the finish line.

You know my view... He's the next top dog... He's been wrestling with Ronnie, & a lesser extent Neil Robertson for a few years now... He'll be number 1.... At some point..

until a new teenager comes on the map in a couple of years time

Arsenal, I'm only winding you up mate. Judd is a top player, but he does need to win more Triple Crowns.

I think it's similar to what happened to Ding - family commitments, different priorities, focus just changes a bit.

I think Covid, as in the changes it enforced, also affected some players more than others, such as being away from families etc.

We have seen an improved Ding this season, so maybe Robbo just needs to reset and get his mojo back - or it may be it's not quite there anymore

Yes I think Robbo needs a reset like Ding. Although I don't think he will have the longevity of some of the others, I think the Class of 92 and Slowby have a better Snooker IQ to get them through matches. Robbo might make up for it in that he keeps himself in shape physically.

Robbo will eventually come back into form. May be next season though.
