We are not signing a striker this jan

If Newcastle are in as much trouble as reported with FFP then there is every chance if we are even discussing him internally. Having said that Arteta will probably go and spend 60 odd million in the summer on another CB that we don't need.

Because a striker like him is what's stopping us from seriously challenging City for the league.

Isak was sh@gged out by 60 minutes he walked most of the game after that against Man-city. Go head and buy him.

Why would Isak join Arsenal? Newcastle would want an outrageous fee,do not need to sell and are building something of their own.

If Newcastle were intent on building, why is their CEO so public about selling players?

So his wages are £25m a season and a £100m signing on bonus. What's their turnover? £250m? That will take some accounting trick.

I doubt they give a chit about Europeans watching their league. What they want is arab eyeballs, and they aren't folding the league anytime soon. Newcastle will always be a distraction.
