Guess who scored for Plymouth?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whittaker?
Hardie?
Well it was never going to be straightforward, but nevertheless frustrating. Just as we seem to be building (momentum), we stall at seemingly winnable games. Still, as we say here "When God made time.....he made plenty of it" đ§
Cash exposed for his lack of pace today.
Difficult to decide where his level is đ¤
Whittaker.
That's like 50 goals for the season. Feels like that.

Cynic!
There was some good football from both sides and it is as well for us that L's Taylor (who caused Cash lots of problems) was wasteful in front of goal and that Vickers was excellent. There was a sad lack of quality in our crossing whether from open play or corners and our wide men did not really cause many problems. Collo led the line well and Bird was very good. Elder was much better this time and Nelson was rightly awarded MOM for a faultless display although was he lucky to get away with a possible penalty? Cash better second half and surely he is entitled to one average game? We had our chances too but were not quite good enough today. A draw fair result.
I really hope we get Blackett-Taylor in plus another striker and maybe a midfielder and then we should be rocking!
Their no. 9 (Taylor) is just a 5hit James Collins.
Elder shaky AF first half, but improved.
A point is fair.
Stopped for food on the way back. We were a bit away from clicking today though we had passages of decent football. We couldn't carry it into the final third though. They always looked quite dangerous on transition and I kept thinking we would end up losing one nil. During the game I said to my lads that this is why Cash won't make it to the top division. He just seemed a bit taken by surprise by Taylor.
Nelson best, then Bird and Collins, but overall it was all a bit6/10 individually and collectively.
But it's a long season. The occasional away draw is hardly a disaster.
Going to Lincoln makes you appreciate the simple things in life. I've just been to a toilet that had both a light and running water. I feel like a king.

You see, this is Lincolnshire, Brexit county capital. They were told that they would have amenities equal to the 1950s if they voted leave

Not in the awa end tho.
So....Michael Smith anyone.....??.? WUT ???
PW has confirmed they have made a good offer for a CF loan.
Just watched You tube Smith compilations - looks distinctly useful.
That's the point of compilations. I sent my "worse of" at my last interview. "Now imagine what I could do if I was awake/sober/remotely competent/knew anything about the job" etc.
It worked for me
Was it for a Cabinet post ?
You had a "worse of" Heb?!
If Smith comes on loan we have plenty of forwards though not a huge amount of pace or craft. I hope we don't start just bunging it to the big lads up front. I don't think we will - although we weren't great today, the majority of the play was constructed from the back and through the midfield, along the floor. I think we have progressed significantly over the last 4 months and credit to Warne for that. I was thinking today that an artful number 10 wouldn't half come in handy in these sorts of games. Sibley might crack it in from 20 yards, he nearly managed it today, but that's about all he offers. Tommo buzzed around when he came on and I would have preferred him to start ahead of Sibley, but he isn't a magic man to unpick a lock with a moment of skill.
But these guys are hard to find in League 1! Maybe it will be a case of pragmatism and grinding out the points. They all add up - if we go up by one point perhaps we will think back at what a glorious 0-0 we achieved on a cold January in Lincoln that ended up sealing promotion.
I think that's where Moxon ( Carlisle) comes in. Possibly identified as the missing creative option in midfield ( in our price range.) My mind goes back to when Kevin Keegan was Man City manager and he signed Ali Bernabia on a free transfer. What's Juan Mata upto these days?
I'd personally have Collins / JJ / Barks as our CF options with Wilson / Ward /N M-L / C B-T as our options on the wing.
Smith is a Paul Warne man which is why it's understandable that he's been a primary target. Just feels like it may disrupt Collins.
What does sad bunch of remainers you lot are get a life.
