Since I was born......By that I mean I was a fan before I knew I was. Being from Glasgow my team was already decided by my ancestors.
There wasnt a time that I remember that I didnt support Rangers
1986. Arsenal. Cos my grandad supported them, my great-great grandad played for them and 3 of my brothers were Spurs fans so I wanted to go against them. Plus they were pretty local and I didn't want to join my glory-hunting classmates in supporting dirty Northern clubs.
I started supporting Man U in the 90s because we won everything. That's what you want really as a fan, to be as successful as possible. And that's what I was. I don't support us as much these days but open to supporting us again if we get our act together and start winning stuff again.

that would explain why you never post about Dundee anymore
In 1999 because I'm born and bred in Manchester
Support Wycombe due them being the nearest club to where I grew up. Did have a season ticket but now go maybe once a season.
As for the premier league. I enjoy watching Liverpool but am certainly not a supporter.
Leeds as long as I can remember. Used to lay on the floor and put the merlin stickers in the album. Remember watching Leeds about 6 years old. Dad is a Leeds fan because his uncle took him to watch them play a few times in the 70's when they were top dogs.
From Norfolk though, so occasionally get the feck off and support Norwich nonsense.

The amount of Londoners who support Man U and Liverpool is a disgrace
Spurs. It’s who my dad supported and who he took me to watch. My dads dad was a Gooner - he used to take my Dad to Arsenal one week and then Spurs the next, it was a thing in those days. My Dad chose Spurs and so did I - now my eldest has also.
All my mums side are United fans - but I managed to resist the urge of trophies and stuck with Tottenham.
Tottenham, because I was born & raised in London and they are my local team and my family’s club. Wasn’t a conscious decision, it was just something that ‘was’. Dad & uncles started taking me with them to WHL when I was about 9 or 10, during Terry Venables era.
All my family from the area and only a 25 minute trip for me as a kid. St's for over 25 years now, although its starting to take its toll.
Family from Liverpool and my dad. Though at the time my dad worked nights and wasnt really following it that much. Around 2000 i by myself really got into football on my own but ofc the Liverpool connection was already there.
But ultimately i watched Liverpool alone and played fifa as Liverpool etc and i just fell in love and was invested in everything Liverpool from then on.
Dads Circumstances changed and he started paying for skysports and got back into football himself and we watched games together throughout my teens etc.
We went to a few games, usually the cups and often away games closer but its never been easy. I've no shame in saying ive been to more games involving my local teams either. Liverpools my love but im still a football fan and go to a lot more games of my local teams, which have all been lower league stuff.
1986 - My Nan was Emlyn Hughes Godmother. Met him when Barrow beat Leek Town in the 1990 FA Trophy. Still got the ticket somewhere.
My Grandad was a UTD fan, but my dad went with the family connection too and is a Red! Not sure if my Granddad ever forgave him.
It's so interesting that everyone's grandad was from Manchester or Liverpool. The population of these cities must have been unbelievable like 80 years ago. in 1950, the UK population was 50,000,000 so with everyone's grandad and by association, grandmother living in these two cities then we are looking at cities of 20,000,000 plus. These will have been the largest cities in the world even by today's standards. I wonder what the living conditions would have been like there. Anyway it's fascinating to learn about history.
Grew up in Devon. Dad wasnt really in to sport or football so had no allegiances. I loved it, was forever out in the garden kicking a ball, trying to convince my 2 brothers to join me.
I do not remember one particular moment when I decided Spurs were my team but my earliest memory was the 1982 cup final vs QPR.
So I guess I'm a glory hunter more like 40 years of pain!
Named after a United player by two United-supporting parents. Simply no other choice
As a child I moved around a lot between Surrey, Cornwall, Ireland and China, so it was only ever going to be United for me
