Would imagine Sarr & Son will be the latest back, probably another 3 weeks as S Korea & Senegal are among the favs. Would expect Biss back before the others but I think he'll still be suspended. Don't think he can play until end of Feb.

Not sure... Not played that much recently and Burnley was in the FA Cup
He was sent off against Forest, since then we have played Everton, Brighton, Bournemouth and United. So he should be available when he returns.
Is there any update on Madders ? Any chance he could play Friday ?

That’s the rumour, but doubt we’ll find out until the day.
Biss, Son and Sarr all progressing to the knockout stages. West Ham likely to get Kudus back early though as Ghana have schitt the bed - quite annoying.
South Korea could get a very difficult knockout game as they may not win the group - so that could work for us. Senegal I think will go all the way - so no Sarr for a while. Mali have been decent but I would be surprised if they go past the Quarters.
Maddison and Solomon rumoured to be available for City. Unfortunately so are Haaland, Stones and Ederson.

I think Kalvin Philips on loan with an option to buy would be a shrewd move.
Nope not been following either competition, couldn’t give a monkeys toss - both Mickey Mouse events as far as I’m concerned that are nothing but an inconvenience to the proper football.

Decent shout but don’t think he’d bother moving from city’s bench to ours. His next move needs to be him as a starter
Not bothered by Phillips at all. He would cover the next couple of league games and then be sat on the bench watching a combo of Maddison, Bentancur, Bissouma/Sarr. We can stick with Skipp and PEH for a couple of games.
The loan fee is rumoured to be £7m and he is on big wages, which I’m sure City want covered as well. So it doesn’t make sense financially for us either.
Only been keeping notes from a far but it seems like all three teams are unbeaten and look good to progressing.
Sarr's Senegal won the AFCON last time and look a good bet to get to the final again. He is in the line up again today and KO at 5pm.
Son's team drew 2-2 with Jordan last time but should progress.
Senegal are on a roll....no P-M Sarr until AFCON is over.
He's playing in his favorite attacking midfield position.And in a star-studded lineup!
Dunno about Son...haven't followed any Asian competition.
I know Sonny has scored at least one goal.
I've been watching the Namibia Vs Mali game - you know when you can sometimes watch a random game and get a blinder ? Well this isn't one of those matches. 28 fouls up til now. Not a single chance in the game, no quality at all.
Bissouma started and as of 75th minute is still on. He's been non-existant really, looks very heavy legged, in sweltering temperatures, done nothing of any note. Mali don't look like a team that'll go the distance. That said from the games I've watched none of the sides really do aside from Senegal.

Im tracking Sarr's flight. He's just had a pre-flight dump and is boarding now. Should arrive at Heathrow 1020pm GMT. My sources tell me his Uber is ordered for 10:45 and he should be home in bed by midnight. Will be at the game but to watch tomorrow night. Go well PapeSarr (BTW why is his Christian name a banned word )
