We literally played you at Wembley 7 months ago.

Your wife can tap in with cardless on her phone or card Eric

posted on 25/1/24

Will she need to buy a ticket or can she just tap in and out with her debit card?

It’s 2024, Oyster cards and tickets are out of fashion now. Just tap your card on the reader and go through the barrier. TFL even accepts AMEX!!

Thanks Lyon & Busby

It is cheaper to tap in and out than to buy a ticket as well. All pretty simple. You can download the TGL Oyster app to keep track on your trips etc.

Curry on chips? This ain't Bradford. We just have salt and vinegar.

Enjoy ABBA , and no need to make up a "wife", you do you.

You can’t tap in with a bucket hat

I can only assume this isn’t difficult as my son managed to travel from the Scottish Borders through London and onto Essex just by using his IPhone.

Bear in mind he is American and had never been in the UK before.

Just a few points:

She won’t be able to bring her whippet into the venue
She can’t make small talk with strangers down here
Either pre drink or remortgage
Toilets are indoors down here
Hello roughly translates to aye up our duck

On the underground you have to get on the first train that comes, even if it is already jam-packed. The fact there is another one coming in 2 minutes which is usually half empty doesn't matter...

Any chance she goes through Waterloo?

That’s the one down Pudding Mill Lane isn’t it? Not my cup of tea but if you’re into Abba it’s apparently very good, I know quite a few people who’ve been. Just tap and go through both ends with your contactless debit card mate, piece of piissss.

Believe me if there was a way of ‘unmaking’ a wife I would be all over it

Chips and curry isn't really a London thing. Much more of a northern thing, I would have thought.

I remember horrifying my London work colleagues with tales of half rice, half chips (with curry sauce) from Chinese takeaways up north.

So many northerners on here. I rarely go as far south as the north.

All the weather warnings were for the North 😂
Didn't even get cold down here.

I’d dip chips in curry sauce from the Chinese, but up north it’s more of a chip shop thing. I went to the University of Leeds, day one every facker was having chips & gravy (or chips with cheese & gravy) at lunchtime, was very disturbing to me. Meanwhile, I couldn’t get saveloy & chips for love nor money. Also, in northern chippies you only ask for fish & chips, and the fish is haddock. End of. Down south, or in London at least, you have to choose a fish - haddock, cod, plaice, rock etc.

Yep if it snows it will be faaacking mayhem down here with everything grinding to a halt as parliament holds COBRA meetings to work out what to do with snow in London.
