To be honest, they're finally in a good position. FFP finally biting others, stadium money in full flow, quality manager and young squad.

They need to back Ange with quality in the next few windows.

Have so far to be fair.

Vicario, Madders, VDV and Dragosin signed so far.

I was very Levy out the last few years, but not we've finally binned off terrorist managers and are signing quality players he's in my good books for now.

Is this what’s going to happen after every loss? Is Levy going to be blamed for it? Why isn’t he then credited with the wins? We’ve just played the European Champions for crying out loud. You lot are behaving like a bunch of cretinous kids that have been spoilt by wins all your life. Jesus.

The fact is that whilst I was anti-Levy for quite some time and I understand where you’re coming from, he’s now getting recruitment right, we’re heading in the right direction and crucially, if FFP is going to be enforced the way we’re told it will, I don’t think I could pick a better chairman to run the club under those circumstances.

Ange has inarguably done a good job turning the momentum around for Spurs after last season, but for a club of our stature to continue our trophyless exploits in a season in which we don't have European baggage, it should be seen as another big disappointment.

I mean if Chelsea win the League Cup when they are confined to only domestic football themselves this season, despite looking far less stable than us, then it will take the pisss.

They’ve just made a final by playing Middlesbrough in the semis. We’ve just played the best team in the world. Jesus! You need luck to win trophies too, particularly if you’re not one of the truly massive clubs.

Yeah but they're playing Liverpool now, the current top team in the league, so if they do win, what would the excuse be then? I fancy Liverpool to beat them but you never know.

Just went toe to toe with the English, European and world champions, losing 0-1 to a quite frankly jammy goal - and some people froth at the mouth and declare it the worst thing ever.

Honestly think some people need to give up sports and go outside and touch some grass.

I agree with the sentiment you played well, but it wasn’t a jammy goal, that’s the first time all season I’ve seen us both do that cross in from a corner continuously and to have Dias in that position rather than attacking the cross. I was surprised you didn’t move someone in front of Dias a few corners before.

I agree with the sentiment though, without the ball in open play I thought you were the best team I’ve seen all season tonight. You were lacking quality in the final third in particular with the ball, which is understandable given who you were missing.

This article is embarrassing. City are comfortably the best team on the planet and could easily win the treble.

Maybe, but.....the goal they did score was definitively a foul on Vicario. How on earth it was allowed is a total travesty of refereeing.

It wasn't a foul IMO. Would have been extremely soft had it been given as a foul, and let's face it - had that have been us scoring from that we'd be fuming if it was disaallowed.

Take it on the chin and move on. I thought City looked very good last night. When they play like that they will beat pretty much anyone and yet we still did ourselves proud IMO.
