You mean Forshaw has gone to Plymouth !! That was quick.
4th Round of the FA Cup at home and we're favourites to win? What is this dark magic?
Not too many changes as we don't have strength in depth in certain areas. We played all of our midfielders on Wed night so some of them will have to play again. Piroe, Shacks, Anthony, Cooper are the only changes id look to make. Cracking chance of a last 16 tie and there are plenty of beatable sides getting through also.
2-0
Forshaw joined Plymouth in the current window,I don't know what went wrong at Norwich.
I wonder if Cresswell will be on the bench or even playing. He may decide to give Ampadu a rest.
Thanks for the MDT, Earl.
C'mon Leeeeeeeeeeeds.....
We're on a roll. Maybe Gnonto will get the chance to shine today?
Let's keep this winning mentality, whether we blow them away or we just grind it out.
Next round and a clean sheet please!
A home game in the FA Cup? Unthinkable. I hope to see Piroe, Byram, Shacks, Cresswell, Klaessen, Anthony, and Joseph all in the starting line-up, with 45 minutes for Gnonto, Poveda and Joffy if all goes well. Plymouth will be fired up and I think it will be very tight. We have had a record breaking five straight wins. The football gods will remind us that we have our ups and downs. I am expecting 75% possession for us, awful refereeing, a penalty to Plymouth, a red card for Gnonto, 2-1 to Plymouth. First person to utter the immortal words, 'now we can concentrate on the league' should be tied to a chair and left in a dark room with Karen Carney for an hour.
I'm not so confident about this game because of the massive amount of energy these lads have expended the last few games and I worry this could be a game too far for them against a Plymouth side roared on by their passionate green army I can see a cup upset here and we bow out 1 nil.
don't think it will be a push over, they gave us a good game last time out
Hopefully Whittaker has blinder and we opt to sign him for around 10 mil before Brighton or Brentford do and get 50 for him a few years later.

But I agree Farkness we most definitely do need to concentrate on the league and what we don't want today is a replay which Coventry have got to fit in to their hectic fixture list. I know it will disappoint a lot of fans if we lost today and keeping the winning streak going is of course important too but I personally think all our energies need to be concentrated on Bristol City next Friday night where we can get 2nd place with a victory..... Having said all that obviously my default position is I always want Leeds to win so ideally we can rest 4 or 5 players today and we can still beat Plymouth and get another home tie.
My team for today would be:
Klaesson
Shacks
Byram
Cresswell
Cooper
Gruev
Gray
Anthony
Gnonto
Gelhardt
Bamford
An hour with Karen Carney ! Wow, yes please, she is gorgeous.

If Gray is injured then I'd risk playing Kamara with Gruev and play Bamford for the first half or 55 minutes and then bring Piroe on but basically try and get through this tie by resting Rodon, Ampadu, Summerville, Rutter, Meslier and even Firpo with James and Gray looking like being out anyway plus Struiyk at least it gives players like Cresswell, Shacks, Gelhardt and Anthony much valuable game time and also Joseph and Poveda if he is available.
Meslier
Shack Cresswell Cooper Byram
Gruev Ampadu
Gnonto Poveda Anthony
Piroe

Crime against football. 12-1 on attempts with 80-20 possession. Ipswich hit the woodwork 4 times.

I'm watching. this is why I prefer the fa cup to champions league. Although I wouldn't say no to Leeds in the cl this is a special comp for me.
