Yep all the evidence points to it being another season like the last time when he scored 9 goals from his return mid February after AFCON, won two trophies, made a CL final and was minutes away from the league.

You might be on to something there.

Salah is a pro. He came back last time and had been worked like a dog by egypt on all 120min games and pens and diaz, mane and fimrino had to pick up the slack.

This injury is like a rest for him.

Nobody wants him to miss his ambition to win Egypt an AFCON but in this season now we will gain a benefit now this has happened.

Quite happy to see the squad we have take up the slack until he is back.
