The front three...

Think you're a bit harsh on Richy but overall I agree - our forward line is our weakest area.

Of our wide forwards, Werner has looked the best but that's not saying a whole lot. Johnson has potential and has his moments but isn't good enough to be a starter for a top team yet. Deki has had a big drop in form (apparently has been unwell recently) but hasn't offered much.

Agree our best front three currently is Son, Richy, and Deki but that area is where we need to go big in the summer if we want to compete at the very top.

Son and Richy are the only ones right now who have nailed on spots in the front 3. I guess with son out wide on the left and Richy in the middle you'd therefore say Kulu on the right. He has a better overall game than BJ but he is often underwhelming.

Aside from Son, who himself can be frustrating but we all know he's our best attacking player, our wide men are too inconsistent.

Can Werner play on the right?

Kulu needs to lose weight.

I used to think our forward line was the weakest part but the lack of cohesion of the midfield is worrying. I'm hoping Bissouma Sarr and Maddison can find their rhythm with bentancur coming on to close games instead of Hojbjerg

For the first time Ange will have a week when all four players being available, assuming Biss has recovered from the AFCON.

Scoring goals isn't our problem it's conceding them.

2 goals at OT, Brighton and yesterday has only yielded 2 points. Much as I'm enjoying our style of football under Ange (going forward) defensively it's seat of your pants stuff. VDV will do his hamstring again if he has to keep making these lung busting last ditch tackles. It's great that he can do that but it's silly to become reliant on it.

Although conceding a late goal that costs us points is always a killer I don't think a draw was a bad result yesterday. Everton are a much better team than there league position suggests and in terms of reasonable chances created we would have been lucky to win.

I we need to move the ball forward quicker to limit the chance of one of our back line losing the ball

Trouble with Johnson and Werner is they are relying on balls in behind rather than taking on their fullback and opening up space, it puts a lot of pressure on mads and also makes us predictable. That may change as they grow on confidence but is a problem. Johnson as well surrenders possession so easily.

Agree with the comments about us moving it too slow out the back, early season we always had options which made passing out from the back easier, with hojberg and Skipp in their lately who aren't great on the half turn, we are easy to close down and shuffle. Bissouma isn't faultless but he can beat a man from deep which opens up space for others. Sarr also does a lot off the ball and makes himself available. When the movement improves passing becomes so much easier and the flow for the team improves, we just haven't really had the personnel to do what we want lately.

Again then when you look at our problem it's losing control of the game, we were so dominant in possession early season but I feel the front three plus lack of sarr and bissouma (and mads) has seen us lose control and composure. Werner and Johnson aren't players who retain possession all that well... We had a good period of control yesterday before the late flurry of subs which caused us no end of problems..

Son, Ricky & Kulusevski / Werner

Solomon - not seen enough of
Johnson - jury`s out, lots of improving to do
Gil - fringe player, yet to show anything

Son & Ricky are currently nailed on picks, Werner it`s early days but I prefer him over Johnson and Kulusevski is too inconsistent / currently off form.

It is absolutely and area where we need to add proven top quality in the summer, and by that I mean established quality capable of playing all across the front and not punts on younger waifs similar to Gil.

We definitely need to get a better winger in the summer.

A better right winger. It's a shame because Johnson and Kulu are both looking inept in Ange ball. That's nearly 70m wasted. Not sure who the solution is

Do think there options,, Leroy Sane is coming to end of contract, it we get champs league next year outside chance. Raphina maybe an option, not playing regular at Barca, proven in prem. West ham fans won't like it and I doubt it'll happen but Jared Bowen ticks a lot of boxes. Cunha at wolves...

Toney of course for striker, doubt that'll happen, but it's the kind of player we need to look at, raise the bar.

Same. It looks like the new swedish kid is going straight into the first team squad. If Devine is included I don't see the need to buy another CM.

So that leaves a striker, winger, and left back cover. Maybe a better back up keeper as well. Werner option too but needs to have more of an impact.

At least four more players in the summer.

Harsth on Richi OP.

The guy scored 2 great goals, both a product of good movement. Against rugby teams like a Dyche side, it will be a battle and their CBs who are thugs.

9 goals in 8 games...that's outstanding form.

Yes he's not world class but his performances since coming back from surgery have got better and better.

Best minutes per goal, except halaand, of all the top scorers.

I'd rather these good stats than 8/10 duals won and just a handful of goals

Holding up and link up are key elements of the game particularly for a forward. If Richarlison is continuously giving the ball away not only negates our chance of scoring but eventually the opposition will take advantage . And it’s not just him BJ can be as bad. Really one of my pet hates when highly paid players are unable to keep hold of the ball particularly in the modern day press.

Am afraid if we are going to be a top team and challenge for trophies and at the top end of the table we have to as a team keep the ball better. A top team would have tried keeping the ball yesterday as the game drew to a close but due to Ange late subs and our inability to hold on to the ball we gave the game away.

I think Werner will come good, needs more chances.
Kulushevski is hit or miss, but when he's on, he's good.
We have two good guys in the middle, Richarlison and Son (who you did not mention).
Our midfield is only just getting back to strength. When it shows up, the front line will look very good.
The back five look very solid, but the problem is, its 5!
Someone has to sit on the bench. That's Aussieglue's problem!
