11s don't win trophies these days. That team, on its day, would give most a good game but against the very best Kulusevski and Richarlison (despite his hot streak) are the obvious weak points and Romero at the back is a liability.
However, the real truth is your manager is so gung-ho you will always drop points where you shouldn't and have to score a fair few to get a result against the better teams on many an occasion.
worse teams on paper have won trophies so why not? Kulu and Rich could be improved on romero too, not that they cant do a good job just think out of that team those are the 3 that have to reach another level or improved on. As good as Richarlisons been this season, Romero and Kulu still young enough too.
Just need some luck but also have to take cups seriously, didnt you get knocked out one cup this season trying to rotate despite not even having european distractions? You need luck in any cup comp, especially now with how strong prem competition is atm. That side is capable of beating any team in the prem but also same time probably more capable of being turned over and dumped out when favourites.

Struggling to counter anything you said tbh.
Right now Kulu and Romero have questions which need to be answered. I hope Richy continues. Since he came back from his op his work rate and overall game has improved alot.
Ange defo needs to find a way to close out games. I'm not sure if he will continue with putting on a 3rd CB as he has done recently. It hasn't work.
Would like him to go 4 4 2 instead.
If that eleven were representing any other club, then you'd have to give them a chance of a trophy one day. However.............
If fat flange could learn a little defensive tactics then I have no doubt you could win the Audi cup in the next 5 years or so
They are good enough to win a cup, but they would need some luck (like most teams that do) and work on being more defensive imo when the time calls for it...otherwise it'll be groundhog day every year for you guys.
I guess it’s good enough on paper.
I think next season we should be wiser. The team is still young and can grow.
First seasons for Udogie, Micky, Vicario and you could say Sarr as well. Just need to get 5th or higher, buy some more players in the summer and kick on next season.
Think all of the front 3 could be upgraded to be honest.
Son is obviously quality but by the end of next season he'll be pushing 33. He's resisted the decline so far but time will catch up to him at some point soon.
Richarlison and Kulusevski are good players but they're not absolute top quality.
I think until Spurs get two or three really top quality forwards in, the biggest trophies will be just out of reach

Son defo has another season in him. This season with no mid week games will help him for next season I think.
Defo need more competition for Kulu and Richy.
Kind of stuck with BJ. If Werner continues to miss sitters forget taking the option on him.
Yeah, next season is Son's last though isn't it, realistically. So if no trophy next year that means all three need upgrading/replacing before Spurs can realistically say they have a title-quality lineup I reckon
It's a tough one, as that first eleven is pretty good, bordering on very good. But it can always be improved upon:
Vicario < Alisson
Porro vs Trent/Walker? Tough, Walker probably edges
Romero < Dias
Van de Ven = Van Dijk (at this point) arguably?
Udogie - probably best in the league but young and mistake prone
Bentancur/Bissouma - very good, both are no Rodri
Sarr > good, young, no Bernardo or Guimaraes
Maddison - excellent but injury prone, no De Bruyne
Kulusevski - inconsistent, somewhat predictable, no Salah or Saka
Richarlison - inconsistent, no Haaland
Son - excellent, but 32 soon
If I was to list the subs, it would very much follow the same sort of pattern. No moan btw! We're doing tremendously well, hopefully securing a CL spot will help us improve even more in the summer - just really hope we don't throw this season away by finishing behind Villa and Man Utd.

Think there is another year option at the end of the 24/25 season but Ali G hinted at looking for a long term successor hence the Nusa links in January.
On paper that team could absolutely win an FA Cup or EFL Cup, if the club took it seriously and we got the required rub of green & luck of draw. They have beaten Liverpool and Newcastle and drawn with Arsenal and City this season.
Romero is an interesting one; I think he’s an excellent combative defender and on the ball he is class, great eye for a pass but also cruises through the line in possession to set up attacks. Oppo fans look at his rashness and think that means he’s no good, which is very wrong. But said rashness is very much there and brings with it a risk of dragging us down. I wonder whether Ange may phase Dragusin into the RCB role at some point? He’s not as good on the ball as Romero but might provide a calmer influence. Think he’s about the same size and Micky VDV too so we’d have two very big CB’s (VDV is officially the fastest player in the PL I saw today, top speed of 37.5KPH).
I don’t see Richi as the long term solution up top despite his hot streak, and we’ll have to replace Son in the next 18 months to 2 years. So, I would say yes, good enough to win either of the domestic cups - or even Europa, but not enough quality up top or in depth to win a league title, especially given the quality of the likes of City.
Could Richy be the one season wonder Kane promised to be?
On its day that team could beat anyone...but that has been the case with quite a few XIs weve had over the years - How Redknapp didnt get passed Pompey in the FA SF with Modric, King, Bale, Lennon, Huddlestone, Defoe, Crouch
Its been the mentality that holds us back often.
We have a team to beat a City of Liverpool in a semi final or final, but do we truly believe we can.
I feel like we would with Ange, but we'd need our best XI on the pitch.
As for a league title, it is a squad game, which is why City are so successful. BUT in reality, winning the title is about winning against most of the rest and not dropping too much against rivals. SO comparisons with LFC or City players doesn't matter, because its how we compare to the other 15 or so who we should be beating.
Under Ange i think we could challenge but it would be very difficult unless it was our sole focus and we also added another 3 or 4 quality options to the squad (which may happen).
You stick Spurs' best XI next to City's or Liverpool's and you have to say it's noticeably behind in most areas. As is the squad as a whole.
At the moment I don't think Spurs have the quality to push beyond 3rd. Need a handful of genuinely elite players to make that push I think
Yes they can win the Europa Conference League (If all the decent teams don't make the latter stages)
Definitely good enough for a cup. Bit of luck with the draw and performances when it matters and you're there. The FA Cup is only 6 games for EPL teams and usually half of those are against lower league opposition.
I think the team and squad is some way off a title bid though.
Ideally what we'd do in the summer (given our apparent FFP advantage) is buy 3-4 quality players to either genuinely compete with or usurp a first eleven player, and dispense of the current 'back up' in that position. Something like:
Sell Sess, Buy Estupinan (genuine competition between him and Udogie. If Destiny has a game like he did against Brentford, he knows he's under genuine pressure)
Sell Hojbjerg, Buy Gallagher (same for Sarr as above)
Sell Lo Celso, Buy Eze/Gibbs White
Sell Gil/Solomon, Buy Olise
Sell Forster, Buy Trafford
Sell Richi, Buy Openda/Ferguson/Vlahovic/Solanke/Toney
Etc etc. Obviously easier than it sounds, but it's that sort of genuine competition rather than a 'back up' or 'rotation option' that separates our squad from Liverpool and City - previously it's been due to lack of spending, now it seems that we are coming towards a position where we can push the boat out a little more. Let's see if we really want to.
All about the bench, need back up for Udogie, 2 forwards ,1 a 9 the other a winger ,another midfielder and possibly a goalkeeper
