Hopefully someone will find out wtf Fletch is meant to be doing.

Lots of talk about a new stadium today too being built on the land at the side of the current stadium. Just about enough room to do it if we lose our car parks for a year or two.

Sir Jim definitely meaning business. Let's hope he follows through with all these exciting plans.

Space will be tight as especially as the concourses like they have at Spurs need much more space

How the feck can we afford that though? How much is a new stadium expected to cost?

I hope the emphasis on younger players means fewer that are 30+ and will instead be between 24 and 30.

Ineos can build it and we can 'rent' it from them!

For £2.50 per year I would assume?

This sounds like a recruitment approach lifted from a GCSE PowerPoint document.

It looks great in writing, but as we know actions speak louder than words and we'll see how the results turn out.
Whilst the manager may have less influence on signings, whether it be ETH or someone else, they're still going to make suggestions as to who they want. Who knows whether both Onana and Antony would have been here if the new recruitment team were in place - maybe we would have got them, but at a lower price, or maybe in the case of Antony, just left it.

But we are either stuck with them, or going to make a significant loss on them

Both wont pass stats wise. They"looked" good by the eye test but not by stats. Gakpos stats beat Antony for example and was cheaper. We probably would have him now.

Ratcliffe believes the North of England should have a world-class venue to rival London’s 90,000 capacity Wembley Stadium and could yet seek to lobby the UK Government for funds amid Westminster’s “Levelling Up” pledges. #MUFC [

Between 1.5 to 2 bn

Most would be borrowed and naming rights would cover the rest.

None of this should be groundbreaking but a sad state of affairs that for Manchester United it’s a novel, progressive, modern approach.

Just to clarify, it's a summary of a new article that wasn't rich in detail. It wasn't a facsimile of the Ineos recruitment strategy document.
