An early night on a midweek match makes a change.

Shame I'd not long got something to eat on way home and sat down to watch. Oh well.

I think only having 3 brooms didn't help.

Good news, Peterborough and Stevenage lost.

Knowing how Slippy coach steps are when wet. We are still waiting on our injury news from last night.

The games in hand are looking good, all we need to do now is win them. My instincts tell me, easier said than done.

Let's hope that we can win them all and put some space between us and the rest of the league.

Games in hand Cambridge away, Barnsley away, Wigan away.

Best laid plans. 8000 miles for 9 Minutes of football.

Ah Ha
So, the Baxter injury rumours turned out to be true.
Nasty thing those wrist ligaments, any injury or weakness has a habit of returning when you least expect it.
We best put a sub keeper on the bench until next season.

Utterly failed to get Blackpool away tickets.

I bet there was a scramble for those Blackpool tickets. A small allocation won't have helped.

Has anybody got a pinch of salt to go with the mini crisis is nearly over article in the Ben?

Probably come from Ian Evatt's sense that it could be.

Though could just end up walking straight into another one if we're not carefull.

If they bring in blue cards and a sin bin.
What comes next. Pink, Community Chest or Chance?

They could scrap VAR and save on the costs of it, by just have a pack of Lucky dip Cards.
Now that could prove more accurate than a ref! or is that the sort of thing the ref does when reaching for a card, sometimes its potluck which colour you get.

Sin bins are just an FA Cup trial at the moment.

Something they are considering as well which could be good is if a keeper is found to be timewasting then the opposition gets a corner. I'd be all over that rule change.

That's a next season early rounds trial rather than chucking it in for the rest of the cup. That'd be fun for the anger it'd provoke but it won't be this season.

How many trials and new rules have we had since say the mid 60's or 70's.
I'm struggling to think of a good one besides the goalkeeper sub due to an injury and a new ball without laces.
