The West loves war because it makes the military industrial complex and the banks richer. Dont forget the war mongering politicians, like nikki haley and nacy pelosi who has somehow amassed a wealth of 200 million dollars

The most amusing thing with folk like you is that you think everyone else was born yesterday, and it's just the chosen few like yourself who really 'understand' world events.

So, tell me about the illegal referendum in Crimea. March 16th, 2014, I believe? And Russia's troop movements in Crimea in the second half of February.

Did March happen before February that year?

Why did the referendum organisers bring the dates forward several times?

And why did they refuse to have international observers at the referendum?

Crimea is like 75% Years Russian in population isn't it? So hardly a surprise that it has a high backing of Russia.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ethnically cleansed by Stalin of the Tatars, who were deported thousands of miles into Asia.

Not too dissimilar to how the Donetsk basin also came to be majority ethnic Russian following the Cossack purges that took place after the Revolution.

It didn't start with the Soviet Union though. Russification policies, forced deportation and resettlement were already common in Imperial Russia, when a very large number of Tatars were either deported or fled into the Ottoman Empire.

But let Spyro tell us how the world works.

Yeah Tatars went from a huge majority to like 20% or less now. Catherine the great invaded Crimea and singled out Tatars i think.

I remember reading that Russia since Czarist times has felt it's natural boundaries were and should be the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Arctic Ocean and the Indian ocean. Was continued by Soviets and now Putain

I think you're trying to preach to the converted on this one. US foreign policy is and has been a bane on huge swathes of humankind almost since the moment the country declared independence.

The main difference is that you won't find legions of airheads patrolling the internet to extoll the virtues of the Monroe doctrine like others do Putin's murderous expansionism.
