Is manager envy a recognised condition?

Dunno. I am happy with our manager to be honest.

The odd thing about this thread is there’s a load of posts pointing to and taking the p*ss out of Liverpool over celebrating whilst complaining about people taking the p*ss out Arsenal over celebrating.

Bottom line is almost every club has done it and nobody really gives a feck do they? You wouldn’t know it reading this forum sometimes but football is actually supposed to be fun.

Then why it is so important for your former player to discuss it in the media instead of give an analysis of the game?

Would you have seen yerarse about this so much had Gary Neville said it instead of Carra?

Gary Neville is the same. He always following his narratives.

What narrative?

posted on 10/2/24

Gary Neville is far worse than Carragher tbh. He was the original celebration police officer, and he also tried to drive a narrative that Arsenal took too long on corners and should be penalised (even though the average time was no worse than most and he said nothing about other teams taking just as long or longer and certainly didn't bring out a stopwatch for them ).

Sky Sports and Talkshiete are pretty much the same now, trying to create talking points to get "hits".

Because the media try and create stories. It’s what they do. What else is happening in football right now? Nothing of interest, so they try and create something from nothing.

As fans we all bemoan the media narratives but here we all are, discussing what they’ve decided we should discuss. Largely because it’s been created on club lines. In reality it’s just not a story. To come back to my previous point, does anyone actually give a feck how much Arsenal celebrated?

Are you actually denying this? Gary Neville has repeatedly criticised Arsenal over the last 3 years for being ‘emotional’. He does it to United players too which is ironic because it’s usually when they are losing and he himself gets emotional

We wouldnt even talking about this one week after it happened it the so called and paid experts doing their jobs and give a fair analysis of what happened on the pitch.

To come to your question. I never give a fack of any celebrations of any team.

Celebrations being part of the game. It express the passion and joy of the game. Without them football and any sport is dead.

It’s not a Sky agenda. It’s a Gary Neville agenda.

I don’t mind Carragher as a pundit and I don’t care if he wants to cry after a loss, that’s fine.

Tbh I never watch pre or post match coverage anymore. Even after a big win vs Liverpool I only watched 5 minutes post match.

I don’t know if that’s more down to lack of interest or the coverage being awful or both.

Sky and TNT’s niche definitely seems to be towards children these days.
