These are just hollow words, like most things he says.
Anyone who takes most things he says literally really need to take a step back and reevaluate their own mental state.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And anyone who dismisses them entirely is an idiot who doesn’t understand politics.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very true Winston. Trump and the GOP tell you exactly what they will do through projection.
Everything they accuse Biden of is what they are doing now or will do in the future.

When he lost the last election, I said that he was using the ‘fraud’ angle to begin his 2024 campaign and some people said he’d be done with politics.
Sadly, I called this one right.
The opposition should have been planning for this moment the minute he lost the last election but they haven’t, and now they’re left with a candidate who is losing support and Trump has the upper hand.
Worrying times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is 6 points behind Biden in the last poll.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn’t change my point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It proves your last sentence wrong. Trump does not have the upper hand.
I would suggest UK news is not keeping you up to speed.

Anyway fecknuts, taking his words literally is the actual sign that you don’t understand politics. Understanding politics is about being able to read the actual meaning behind what politicians say.
Look beyond the headlines, which most are incapable of doing judging by the hysteria shown on here.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I haven’t taken them literally.
Why don’t you go and be angry somewhere else, you’re derailing the thread.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you agree with me then. Which just makes you look even more stupid, as you automatically contradicted my point without even realising.

Couple of things.
1. You make a fair point, though you then back it up with unnecessary patronising comments. Actually, I haven’t based my opinion on the UK media.
2. You’re basing this on a poll that is in my view already out of date. If you’ve followed this then you’ll know these polls have changed on a regular basis and are premature to say the least.
I think given the week Biden has had, Trump has wrestled the upper hand. No real way of knowing that of course.
The other issue that with Biden is that he has alienated the 'black' and 'Muslim and Arab' votes.
The fact that Trump has made it this far is astonishing and a genuine credit to his campaign to thoroughly take advantage of the IQ of the American population.
