Real Madrid supposedly going to offer him €25m/year. There are a few PL clubs that can definitely afford that…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
€25M?
"Killian, we know you only stayed on at PSG the past four years because of the money, but how about we put you on the same wages as Alaba?"
You're looking at least twice that amount, otherwise he either stays or legs it off to the Gulf, where they could probably offer him four, five, or six times the figure.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He already turned down the Saudis, and has told PSG he is leaving.
Wherever he goes, he will be paid significantly less than he was being, but has all the money he could ever need, and he won't go poor playing at Real.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It won't be €25M, FloPo would never risk low-balling him like that. It'll be at least €50M.
Plus, we've got about €200M room on our wage bill - a space that we've been leaving precisely for this when this moment arrived. It suggests that if and when he does come, it's going to be on mammoth wages on non-PSG European standards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
£25m per year is still £500k per week. Whilst iv no doubt Real will push the boat out to get him, he runs the risk of pricing himself out of a move to anyone if.his demands our too great.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I kinda doubt he'll be thinking "Where do I go after Madrid" right now.
Madrid have been after Mbappé since his Monaco days, and basically kept going back to him every couple of seasons.
It would be a massive loss of face for Pérez if this deal failed to go through. If Mbappé doesn't come to Madrid it'll have to be because of an offer in the hundreds of millions from an oil club.

Given he has rejected the Saudis already, why would Real offer him silly money, when they are his only real option?
The guy will go to Real and be paid handsomely, but to suggest he will be on Saudi / PSG money is plain wr9ng IMO.
City might be forced to rescue him.
