I can’t think that the writer of this article has seen Lawrence play. The term flatters to deceive could have been written for Lawrence. Occasional bits of class intermingled with numerous pointless dribbles to nowhere. Plus he managed to crock his club captain and walked away with a slap on the wrist.

I've never read such rubbish. TL was a disgrace to football and I would have paid to get rid of him.

Scored goals against poor teams and when we needed him, like at Wembley, he was sh!te.

Give me N M-L any day. It was chucking money at mardy dross like him nearly finished our club.

On today’s game I was thinking Steve Evans has a good record with lower division clubs but when he went to Leeds he was a disaster. That then reminded me that Paul Warne has a similar record in the lower leagues but 3 relegations when in a higher league.
