A bit of an overreaction. There is nothing wrong with getting to a final and losing to Klopp, who is arguably the best manager around.

He's obviously not the worst manager. They were playing a strong team and could/should have won it but for bad misses at the end.

Klopp had 7/8 players missing who usually start every week for him.

Chelsea had to win that today. The fact he couldn't beat their kids says everything.

How do you not beat a Liverpool side that played 45 minutes with half the side of 18 year olds

If that were true, why didn't Kane make Mourinho and Conte look better when he had a similar strike rate?

because you're positioning it as an excuse when it's clearly not, Chelsea weren't bringing on 3 players who I imagine don't have 20 senior appearances between them

I am not positioning anything as an excuse. Young players or not, I see no shame to losing to Klopp!

This is why he is a top manager and our manager is not. Young kids or not, they played with passion, pride and identity, no excuses.

Eh, VVD’s perfectly good first goal, chalked off because a guy who was never getting near him got “blocked”.

My suggestion is for the bin bag excuse merchants to watch a top manager at work missing key players and a world class player at that and still performing.

Pretty much how I feel too.

Liverpool today without more key players than we have been at any stage this season and still found a way and kept a clean sheet.

ETH apologists are living in complete and utter denial mate. He's very lucky he wasn't sacked in November. To even consider giving him a third season would be monumentally stupid.

The apologists won't back down though. They have made their stance and refuse to admit they were wrong.
