Exactly. They hardly broke a sweat and they still wanted the next day off? I'd make them work hard in two training sessions the day after that shocking display if I were the manager
Hilarious. Can he bench everyone of them?
Which players do we reckon wanted the day off? And what do we think they wanted to do on their day off?

Overworking the squad in preseason.
United's preseason is like another summer holiday for the players.
These players also 'had to be reminded of their commitments' by their coaching staff.
What a bunch of complete qhunts.

I said exactly the same thing. Only playing once a week due to their own failings and can't even be bothered to pull the finger out for that. They deserve to do a double session on the Sunday for that, let alone having the cheek to ask for it off
Imagine Liverpool or City players asking Klopp or Pep for a day off after an embarrassing performance in a defeat the day before.
It all comes down to the bald fraud. The players just do not respect him as a manager.
Fergie's turning over in his hammock.
Well now, if this is true… then I’m coming round to the realisation that Ten Hag time as UTD manager is over.
This is incredibly disrespectful, to have the gall after having not played a Match for a week, to then put up a lethargic/ pathetic performance at home, that they requested a day off…
On the same night as Haarland scoring as many goals in one match as Rashford has all season long , we get a story like this about our overpaid and overrated clowns of footballers.
At the end I think we really need to take active steps in removing every "key player" we have with us. I think they have all exceeded their purpose and filled with hubris. We should actively scrub the team of every one of them.

This was my favourite part of the article…..
Antony: I backed him for a long time,” he said. “I know his abilities, great abilities. I know from the past he is unstoppable, no defender can stop him because he’s one of the quickest in the first 10 yards. I’m sure he will perform. He is resilient, he is a character and he will fight back and I back him and he now has to wait for his chance and once he is there he has to pick up [his form].”
I wouldn’t want him as my defence lawyer……

To be fair, he's trying to defend the indefensible?
Apparently, Harold Shipman had defence council.

They did this with OGS. A lot of them tried this with Jose (Pogba)
The least United set of players I can ever remember. I remember when the United players under Fergie used to say the toughest match they played was against each other in training on a Friday - but they loved it. These lot don’t want to train, improve and sort themselves out after embarrassingly being outplayed at home by Fulham. Faaack me
