Can’t blame Turner for that, he has little or no time to react, blame Elanga for the stupid arrogant/petulent free kick given away, or Danilo for not staying in front of Casemiro. I don’t understand why you’d give a free kick away in that position for no reason, especially when you know how bad our defence is at facing them.
Basically i think most footballers are just plain thick, and don’t think.
I’m interested to know who will be in charge of us next season in the championship, when most of this bunch of wage parasites have moved on. It won’t be Nuno, he’s hardly an improvement on Cooper, yes we offer a LITTLE more threat going forward, but have learnt squat defensively.

Our shooting was poor, but least we made some good chances. But then again they missed a couple of good chances early on. Yeah, really daft free kick to give away, do it so often. Origi looked pretty lively though.

But it seems that when the exact same foul happens in the opposition penalty area, it is deemed to not be a foul, therefore not a penalty.
