Do they?
I'm pretty sure other than the odd racist idiot (which will be a very small minority) the vast majority of fans are simply frustrated at his performances and lack of effort. This has been compounded by him going out on the p-ss and subsequently missing training and now claiming people shouldn't question his commitment.
Writing what he has means nothing if he keeps being sh-t on the pitch and looking completely disinterested. It's just a very odd thing to release and he and his PR team haven't read the room at all.

Him going to a nightclub didn't really bother me that much at all. It bothered all the people who wanted another reason to go in on him.
The player I grew up with and had posters on my walls went out 4/5 times a week. If you've been to see Sharpey in a Sports man dinner you know all about it.
He's in a difficult position now though. More fans want him gone than want him to stay and he's essentially been priced out of a move.

You might need to look up what binary means. I don't think you know. 😂
Nobody suggests that you cant criticise his performances or attitude in some games. Just be fair about about it compared to other equally chite players.
And the manager come to that.
Let's see what happens after the game on Sunday.

It's gone too far now for many. Rashford probably needs to leave now because this noise isn't ever going away. The issue is there's just no market for him to leave because of his wages.
It's PSG or stay basically unless you see him in Saudi Arabia which I just don't see happening. And PSG are apparently looking elsewhere this summer.
Se85
And Ferguson was furious about him partying to the point that he sold him. Stop comparing it to the drinking culture of the 80s and 90s, it's not the same.
Most fans don't have an issue with players letting off steam now and then as they're human and like everyone need a release at times. But when you're playing sh-t all season, not looking like you care, going out and getting p-ssed, your PR claim you haven't and then release an open letter stating being angry at people critising your commitment then you're gonna look like a bit of a pillock.
He isn't the only one playing sh-t, be he is also the highest paid player and the biggest profile and that means he will be crutisied more than others.

Take out the 16 goals in 17 games hot streak last and he has scored 24 goals in 103 games for the remaining games of the past 3 season.
He’s not an elite player but he earns elite wages.
We’re not competing for big prizes if he’s a regular imo. Forget about other players who also aren’t good enough. We need to sign better and hope Garnacho and Hojlund develop how we hope they will.

Take out the 16 in 17 games for what reason? I don't get arguments like that.
It's like people saying take penalties away from players etc. He did score those 16 in 17. Why should they be taken away?
His numbers for the club are actually pretty good for a player that's been playing off the left mainly in a struggling team.
I’m making the point that for the main part he’s been below average for 3 years now.
He’s not an elite player but he earns elite wages.

This has been fundamentally one of the main reasons for Uniteds demise for many years concerning many overrated and overpaid players who United have either bought or developed to the point that we cant sell them on under contract.
To pin that on Rashord as THE problem is really poor.

I get your point that football has changed a bit though but I have no issue with a player occasionally letting his hair down. You only get to live your 20's once. Best time of your life it's meant to be.
As I said there's people who just don't like him and will use anything he does to be critical of him.
Wasn't long ago we had people on this board who were advocating for Antony n Sancho to be starting over him let's not forget. Those noises have definitely softened though of late. Wonder why. 😉

This isn’t actually true, Sterling and Mount were his favourites, but they’ve been dropped from the squad since the world cup. And Rashford has never been one of his favourites, he’s always been in and out of the squad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he is capable of dropping them. I guess it depends on how strong the depth in the position they play in is. Thankfully there is enough depth in Rashford's position. He would barely make the top 10 in the pecking order for attacking players right now. Players like Henderson and Phillips however it's a different matter.
Of course he's committed, the club pays him £300k to walk around the pitch, with the occasional run, and no matter how much he stinks the place out, he'll still get picked, he can't complain.
