I’ve just looked at the VAR tables and our controversies aren’t even listed.

It shows us as receiving the most favourable decisions?! 😂

I think the difference is that Liverpool’s probably get looked at by the ref. Plus, you score more goals…so you will definitely have more to review.

I hope there is no VAR controversy on both sides.

There will be VAR, ref is Tierney who is awful vs liverpool so VAR will have to clean up.

I thought the ref handled the game well including the situation you mention and incidents of cheating and simulation.

Speaking of which; it is a worry how our fitness levels dropped of a cliff after about an hour on wednesday. We needed fresh legs a lot sooner. If the same happens this afternoon we will get run ragged.

I think the owner is paying the price for just bringing in too many players and not retaining last years first eleven that showed so much steel in the second half of last season.

Bit harsh really Dave, that happens often, in any case he was just offside...

Agree it happens often, all too often. The problem is when clean through, players have to long too think about what they are going to do, and invariably out think themselves, so much easier when instinct is involved.
Liverpool definitely on top in the second half.

65 mins and there was the game for Forest to win, and, no real surprise, Elanga misses the target, yet again. Surely he must make one count at some point.

1 minute to go , one set play to defend, and we yet again fail to clear our lines, we had the chance to put the boot through it on the 18 yard box, didn’t do it, invited another cross and yet again we failed to deal with it.
Only saving grace is Everton are also losing.
