Looking forward to re-acquainting myself with Waltzing around the Cowshed and co as they have not been visiting our board of late.
The doggies will be chomping at the bit for this one, but if we bite more than we bark, we should be able to make them go walkies.
2-1 in a hard fought battle is a good call, Earl, I think I might take that as well, with Piroe and Cree to tame our gallant opponents.

Can’t see how we can lose this; 5-1 Leeds

posted on 2/3/24

They seem like they’re on a bit of form and did give Southampton a tough game recently. We need to be focused here

A very good morning one and all from an exceptionally arctic cold Cheshire but like the cheshire cat I am confident the footballing gods will smile favourably on the mighty whites today and although we will have a tough west Yorkshire scrap on our hands I am predicting
a hard earned 3 points for Farke's men making it 10 league wins on the trot.....Huddersfield 0 Leeds 1.

Good afternoon, all!

Thanks for the MDT, Earl.

Back to the business of promotion!

Yes, we need to respect Hudds but at the same time, I'm hoping we produce another "statement performance" today. I'm sure the players will be feeling up for this one after the Chelsea game. Let's hit them hard and kill it off as early as possible, with all due respect to Hudds.

COME ON LEEEEEEEEEEEDS UNITED!

Team news: Meslier, Gray, Firpo, Rodon, Ampadu, Gruev, Kamara, Summerville, Gnonto, Georginho, Bamford

posted on 2/3/24

Subs: Darlow, Byram, Roberts, Cresswell, Cooper, Anthony, James, Piroe, Joseph

Bamford and Rutter fit to start with Gruev and Kamara back in midfield Ampadu back alongside Rodon with Gnonto keeping his place so James on the bench with Piroe and Joseph and Roberts too but pretty much a full strength eleven even with Firpo at LB.

Let’s get this wrapped up by half time

Hard to see Struiyk getting in this first 11 now but I suppose he'll take Cresswell's place on the bench.

Either we make hard work of another early kick off away or we paste them 4 nil. One of the trickier hurdles we face till the end of the season given its a Yorkshire derby away early, after a midweek game.

posted on 2/3/24

I do wonder whether Archie could play a full 90 minutes LB like Bale started off in his career. Gray switched to that side replacing Firpo against Leicester so Roberts could play RB and Leicester couldn't cope with us in the last 15 minutes or so.

I'm pleased Gnonto has got his mojo back but I still worry about his firey temperament which I'm sure Huddersfield will target him in trying to wind him up into getting a red card but hopefully Farke has reminded him of his responsibilities to keep his head, not retaliate and concentrate on using his amazing skill to punish the opposition.

Strong line up. We just need to keep it steady like the performance against Argyle and we'll be fine. Good point about Wilf keeping his head.

Is BBC Radio Leeds's coverage of Leeds biased to the dog bothers? They always give them the free sat channel. In general apart from P Ogden the commenters are less than useful. A Pope should stick to working at a timber warehouse.

Even if Farke stays with the side as it for now. Any knock picked up by Gruev or Ampadu brings him straight into the side. And then it will be hard for the player losing his spot to get it back.

How do all.

That XI picks itself now. Farke's done a top job.
