He doesn't have to make contact. The law states that you just need to be endangering an opponents safety for it to be red.

We're not winning this game today we've went into a shell since yang was sent off

Our best bet is replace Idah with Kyogo and then Kyogo and Maeda can do the 2 attacker way they did in a game last season when we went down to 10
